Positivity is a wave
which sweeps the surface;
laps at my feet
to then melt
like i did at my mother's
by the fireplace in winter,
then disappear
much like the fireplace
and her warm feet.

Anxiety also lies close to the shore;
it is the wave that throws itself
against the rocks.
I am the rock.

With the touch of your skin,
I can feel that you don't mind the pain,
your eyes are bold like sin,
to breathe all the air out of strain,

I came and I've shattered the weight of my stress
But I'm lying and slowly decaying like I'm dying but
Trying, to find a way to cope,
When life is tough don't lose your hope,
Don't let depression cut the rope,
Don't let others affect your growth,
It all takes time but sometimes it's slow,
I know,
Love I won't think to even leave you locked in
Those chains,
Telling me that you feel the same,
There's no way, To put aside belief,
I know that death will follow grief,
Don't you forget now baby please,
Sought chemistry like you and me,
The end won't come for you and me,
So sweet.

Nothing like love's Embrace

I'm sorry,
I'm trying,
To make it right,
And all your tears can put out fires,
Lets spark a light,
Ive got nothing to run back to,
So isolated,
Choose to hate,  or can you choose,
Lost in translation,

Why do you take things to heart    in this life,
Why do you take things so personal,
I watched your heart melt
in my hands,
Now personalities getting very comical,
And still,
And still,
You take things so personal,
And still,
And still,
You use to be sensual.

She reads my poetry
in the way that she
makes love to me,
slow and
deliberately
so hot that she's melting me.

I try to write faster to outlast her,
but failure is a part of me
like broken down machinery
and still
she fixes me.

Her name is Ivy
She'd say "come on and try me"
She had an hour glass figure
Her breast couldn't get much bigger
With hair from here to there
You couldn't help but stare

She had skills in the bedroom
Made strong men weak and moan
When giving blow jobs
She always got her tongue involved
She was the best in the land
Even with just her hand

But once in her embrace
You'd lose track of time and space
A little piece of heaven wrapped up in hell
She would put you under her spell

They'd always begged for more
She just knocked them to the floor
For she truly hated men
But could make them *** and *** again

That was her poison
She toyed with their emotion
She poisoned their brain
For want of her would drive them insane
They had tasted the sweet nectar
Then could no longer get her

She drove many to take their own life
For they couldn't make her a wife
She grew wild and free
You can look but not see
She was the greatest find
But she was a poisoned vine

If you ever touched her you'd agree
The beautiful Poison Ivy
Change me, into the man that you created me to be.
Help heal me of the man that keeps wanting to be married.
Let me dwell in your Love, help me to overcome this.
I know that you have your reasons why my life is this way.
Do what only you can do to change my life to be a much better one.
Please put a heal me of all of the unnecessary brokenness.
Do what only you can do to restore me into the man.
That you originally created me to be revealing you through me.

Daddy somebody shot that man
I heard this eleven year old say
I didn't really understand at the time
I just knew a man was dead

But with the years that followed
I came to learn how much he meant
To this world in its great need
And how well that time was spent

He preached of equality he preached of peace
As he spoke of man as one
He marched his way down city streets
Facing adversity with the face of love

He was done with all the hatred
That fills so many lives
To him color was a vision
Of equality in his eyes

A life so young a life cut short
By the wicked in us all
Will you stand with me and follow him
Will you heed his righteous call

To call every man your brother
The way Martin Luther King Jr. did
To keep the vision of this visionary alive
A reality in which all mankind should live
I've run this the past couple years but this great man made such an impact on my life that it bears repeating.  We need more men like him today...a true hero! (Oh and I'm not back yet from my sabbatical, so don't tell anyone I was here...let's keep that our little secret)

I want you to teach me,
put the pencil in my hand and show me how to write.

Show me how to color the past instead of erasing it.

Teach me to love myself, In the way you love me.

Show me where I went wrong, then tell me to turn right.

Teach me smile more and cry a less.

Show me what I don't see,
Protect my eyes from what I shouldn't.

Make me laugh in the midst of my tears.

Teach me to forget why I was sad.

Show me how to conquer the pain.

Tell me what you want, and how you're gonna get it.

Show me why I should trust you,
Then,
teach me how.

breathe more.
take a leave more.
write more.
drop the strife more.
sing more.
dance more.
take a chance more.
do more.
play more.
seize the day more.
say more.
hear more.
hold someone near more.
love more.
give more.
cause we all gotta live more.

A Lily
use
spit
into my mouth

strings of saliva
connecting our tongues

drool
dripping to chin

the scent of you
on this skin

choke
me hard

tight grip
around the throat

leave a mark
turn it red

blood
rushing to head

bite
into my flesh

sinking teeth
pressing in

pierce the surface
clench down tight

imprint
your appetite

spank
me without relent

open palm
against soft cheeks

lift
the tiny skirt

harder now
make it hurt

tease
my aching body

it’s yours
to defile

wet
with intense desire

**** me
until i tire
