in this
pocketful
        of limbo
          the distance rises
               in curls of smoke
        a prairie fire
siphoning into
crisp edge
           of forest
          Inside my
uncloaked ventricle
primeval forces
turn my blood into
dusted gold
as they pump
        sacred texts
into my oxygen
      They roll your quintessence
upon my fingers,
            playing inside
     my psyche's
wild ache
a spread of orifice
in spellbound mantra,
       as I spit out
          the
            hairy thorns,
a holy purge of
   internal
        engravings

Somehow ---
like a miracle,
I grow ripe seedlings
from deep within
            my womb
as I trip into
a universe rising
I take wisps
of your grace
as it brushes
the jut of my
astral collarbone
You are always
         grounding me
                    like this,
               my tongue
              tripping
         over velvet
stance of warrior
        assuaged into silk

        Without you,
I might be
whisked off into
the periphery
of chaos
but instead
       I am simply
tied to
      the urgency
of the little novas
about to
        explode

While I wait
            I tend to
              the wildfires.
     to make sure they
                   are still burning
I keep my honey
wet and fresh
upon your
                   lips,
let my pores
drip moonpools
    into your glistening
wet of mouth
and only when
          it is time
I let the whole of
           me burst
into the
      fire -wrapped
tips of
   stars
suits the mood!!

It smells like loneliness outside.
The smell of a hot dog on a grill after a storm,
mingled with propane and cigarettes.
The smell of solitary.

A string of “cold and broken hallelujahs”
no longer dulls the senses.
It’s senseless anyway.

I eat my brown rice in front of the sink
and I am reminded of the taste of Play-Doh.
It’s funny how loneliness creeps in on the wind,
the cars’ wheels in the rain,
the braking of the bus,
scuttling of squirrels...

Maybe a hot tea or toddy
(maybe something stronger)
will keep this autumn-ness at bay.

How well it seems
I get to know your scenes
in the tug of nights darkness
in the realms of touch

blind innocent still
along the edges of
shadows still peeked
and viewed of both sides
now and wondered aloud musical
how I might find
the right touch the soul
the very nature of calm
I have searched for
so long

and on that edge, I pose
balancing hope
and juggling desires
a heartfire
and a cold ice juggernaut
fiercely holding
hope's eternal flame
in hands of clay
of mind's worthless
qualms

worry no more my fruitless
search has ended
along the edge I
fell headfirst in;
in love in peace into eternity;
into a vast new you and me.
Into love forever....
I stake my claim.

I walk no more alone,
eternally.
You have
              always
been that missing piece;
         that missing  piece of me
that mystery in my life
              the magic
                the fire
                  the delight
                    the desire
only through your eyes
                  can I see myself
and a new way
                a new life of
                        beauty
                           stability
                             tranquility...
With you
            I know true love!
You are
my one star in the dark of night
              my true beating heart delight
the truest beauty that holds my sight
my Sun, my forever shining light.
The beauty in my life is all YOU!!!

If your sky is grey
let me paint it blue,
if you need love
I’ll love you.

If your heart is broken
I’ll wrap you in my wings,
I’ll sing a sweet song
reassurance it will bring.

If you need a friend
I’m always there,
I’ll pick the stars
and place them in your hair.

When you feel alone
don’t be afraid to call,
for I’ll always catch you
if you stumble and fall.

If you’re sad and blue
just remember,
I’m your friend
I’ll always love you!

you tried to feed
me stardust
sway and hold me
as we danced

you tried to make a home
out of me
open my shutters
let the light
flood inside
push sheer magenta
curtains aside

you tried to run
your fingers reverently
over my rosewood

you tried to ***** my home
raise it from the island
kiss my lips after broken
storms hold my hands in your own convince me that you  replaced my old
broken doors
peeling paint and vinyl siding

you tried to
feed me stardust
sway and hold me
as we danced

you tried to make
a home out of me
but I was really an island
ready to be claimed
by the fire and the sea

Here in this society
We're told we must
"Fit in".
Only then you'll
Stay in step
Only then you'll win.
I've never been
A "round peg".
I won't now begin.
I will not look
The other way
When people
lie & sin.
If you diss my savior
I'm sorry...
I won't grin!

So you think that
You can save yourself?
You have a "moral" way?
You don't need repentance.
You don't have to pray.
Friend, you will be tested!
There will come a day.

This is from a loving heart!
I don't carry a grudge
I am far from perfect
And so I cannot judge!

But when you hurt
The Lord's rep
You bet I'm gonna fight!
I wear a frown!
I won't back down!
I'll scream with
ALL MY MIGHT!
He saved me from
The second death!
He rescued me
From night!
He brought me
Out of darkness
Into His marvelous light!

Being Christian's
NOT a cakewalk!
It is NOT A GAME!
I will not stand
Aside and watch
Some people
TAKE HIS NAME!
Say it with due reverence!
DON'T SAY IT IN VAIN!

Some stay out of conflict.
But I'm gonna SHOUT!
I wasn't made to
"Just fit in"...

I'm made to
STAND OUT!!

I'm sorry I'm not on site much anymore.
Personal struggle. Heard some folk are dissing the Lord, though. NOT COOL!

I kneel in a field of wheat grass
catching grasshoppers.

I scoop underhand into my jar, another
at the height of its jump, a third.

I put my jar by the stream, pull one
out and I grab it, force my barbed steel
hook through the belly still trembling.

I cast long loops of line into the drift
below rocks where current
froths and whirls.

I stand mechanically slightly ashamed, uncomfortable on that shaded bank
where trout strike hard.

I let them swim, then hold fast, reeling one, exhausting him, wrenching him
into air, his tail drumming against the sky.

Hanging  from the line
his fat belly flinches.

All his life of riding rapids, hiding
in flats embraced by waters’ fast flow,
by red rainbows in his scales.

I didn’t expect that open mouth,
that whiteness, the gills stop twitching,
the eyes caught in that open stare.

A victim becomes violated
Does not matter how
It feels like every room in their
house has been broken into
We pay too much attention to
Who did this or even why
Passing blame on this or that
We lose focus...
We forget about that person
Living inside the house
Don't lose focus of the victims!!! Sorry just something I feel very strongly about!!
