Gidgette
You are the puppet master
My heart,
On your strings
And in the darkest echoes,
The silence of my heart, rings
There is no more beating,
You've drown it, in black ink
All I can do is watch
The waves that cover, as it sinks

How many times
Did you fall down
Before you learn
To walk away
How many times
Did you fall in love
How many hearts
Did you break

How many loved ones
Have you let down
How many promises
Did you forsake
How many more
Lives will you touch
With the selfish
Battles you wage?

Notes of papers
modules, graphs, maps and scales
me lost in dreams of fairy tales
hard to count
rush to the exam mount
endless cups of coffee in vain
shallows, brooks of caffeine

The clock runs the marathon
eyes dead '
brain washed

What do you perceive?
Is your god the only
God in existence
And out of eight billion
HUMAN BEINGS
On this mighty planet
You and a mere one and a half billion humans
That follow said deity
Are the only people on this earth that matter?

Those bombs that shook
Their expendable existence
Did you feel it in your heart
The fist of your intolerant god
That tore their worlds apart...

And no please don't perceive this
With your separatist heart intact
Your fairy tales
Have all gone to hell
What more horrors will they hatch...

Home is a lazy day
With earphones on
Sometime in May
When rain has come

Home is a warm bed
And a soft, cozy blanket
A waking yawn at twelve
When morn and noon meet

Home is in the midst of friends
Talking boys or latest trends
Where there is no bad blood
Only love's abiding bond

Home is in my dreams
Buried in faraway things
Things I never had
And might never will

Yes,  I am fat and these are my addictions-
You feed me too much of your love at all seasons
Your wisdom makes my mind bulging with lessons
I am too fat now, you know the reasons
Body and soul

Because not loving is loving
Because letting go is not letting go
Because not caring is caring
Because no words spoken is speaking a lot.

Just because

Bubbling broth
Full of bits of chicken
Carrots, celery, onion, spices
Egg noodles boil 45 minutes
Return the meat to the soup
A delicious dinner
Served

Distracted, forgotten
Noodles not just browned
Scorched, charred, ruined.
Rescue the unblackened bits
Dream of dinner
Not realized
Enough?

The best ***
Bottom covered
Black, thick, hard, welded.
Dispose of the pan, or try?
Return it to the stove
Water boiling slowly
Releasing

Black flaking
Lots of work ahead
Scrubbing, scrapping, painful.
Frustration, time, heal.
Returning, renewed determination
No longer perfect.

A beginning of a text
A begging sloppy test
Living dreams of lost
In sunken messy world

Who will take us there?
The other side of the wall
A place of open hearts
Unstirred and unstitched

The 'Jezebels' stare at us
Peeking, itching the peaks
As we lose they triumph
As we touch "ours", a pull

The exile dwelling tiresome
Sweaty drools, hunger pangs
Spotted blood stains rules
We crawl from the beauty

Where is the bounty Nile?
A plentiful stock of nutriment
Hand in hand, a moonlight dance
Joyous basket to hold and nourish

He's a heister,
Now detaining my precious,
Aloof and so vulnerable
Yet he is careful
Scared to crush the gem
Into smithereens
For it cannot be the same
Once it is broken
Word for the day: smithereens (small pieces)

You are standing there outside my window
Waving your hand and smiling
I am feeling like I will run and hug you
But a **** girl comes along
And makes your eyes bigger
Why not?
She is wearing a see-through dress
And the curves of her body
Are kenspeckle to your eyes
You leave with a smug look
While I am here, broken
Gazing at the fine lines
I see in the mirror
kenspeckle: conspicuous
