If I see a word hysterical should i laugh or pause and think
of historically used meanings?
Should I shy from Jew and say Semite, I exodus from meanings.
time is evident or sedimentary
grandeur, I leave it all to linguists, cleverer than I,
I change daily, accent
acquire meaning etymological like
Knight is a servant?
Lady a kneader, Lord a provider of bread?
And bread, It has new meanings, as does green, several.
Logos, is still what you hear, an example,
to justify, I apologize, for saying?

it all
so spoken
retooled in white
sly spoken words
not heard in public
self derogatory and hidden
you say to who you believe is white
when I am red, just hidden, have a hatred given
from my father's being driven on a long walk their land taken
my soul hears and  i keep quiet to colored words said on the sly I
take it alone wonder why, I am not speaking, up, for my forefathers,
all, who have been taken enslaved driven killed by this white supremacism. My black and yellow and yellow brothers.
I feel. But keep quiet.
feel like a *****.

Misunderstood since birth;
A fool to temptation and self apathy.
Hard work necessary for advancement
No eternal reward for wasting the days.

PAYMENT IS DUE

There is no other solution
Only the path of change.
Something yearned, but
A  sacrificing lesson needing to be learned.

I met her once
a little, blind girl
who had let me
inside her wonderful world.

Yes, she couldn't see,
the girl with eyes bright.
Yet, she loved her world
like she never lost her sight.

She heard the music
of the breeze that blew.
The love for her world,
it only grew.

She acquainted me with
that music she heard,
from the buzz of the bees
to the chirping of the birds.

Yes, she couldn't see
the wonders of life.
Yet, she smiled
without a sign of strife.

She had beautiful eyes
filled with wonder.
I stood speechless and thought
how could God make such a blunder?

She danced and sang
with a graceful twirl.
How she loved her life
the little, blind girl.

She smiled and laughed,
her face filled with joy.
With wonder in her eyes,
she was serene, yet coy.

She felt her world
beneath her tiny fingers
and on me left a mark
that would forever linger.

Yes, she couldn't see
the life that she felt.
Yet, she never showed
the sorrow that she dealt.

Her world was dark.
Yet,  she saw
the Earth's true form
pure and raw.

Yes, she let me in.
But I couldn't overstay.
So, I excused myself politely
and quietly walked away.

I had met her once
a little girl who couldn't see.
Yes, she was a child
but the happiest there could ever be
Probably one of my best works. I'm pretty proud of it. ^_^

NuurSeraph
A walk upon the waters; nigh
Shalt not split thy vein
Lest furtive glances; sigh
To bear upon His Name.

What twills apart my Being
Must extricate a feeling
Is truly trying triumph
For brew upon the brow.

If moorings mast is cracking
then ****** upon the wind
for deeper trust be lacking
my Bow I must rescind.

a Keeper of her stables
should roll up bales of hay
a Reader of her Fables
would wish to port her Bay

Make for meager living
In a time as starkly stout
To climb upon the mountain
Into the tempest, Shout!!
How I would imagine a centuries old poet's reflection upon the modern Self and greater society as a Whole. (This particular poet is a bit cynical:)

Give me a minute
To read the stars
Lamenting in their stories
Their laboured twinkling far and sparse

Give me this moment
To stumble and swoon
My branches reaching for
The faraway moon

Give me a while
To be one with the universe
Hear the colliding planets
As they spill their mournful verse

Give me some time
To plot my rightful place
Within my uncharted galaxy
And collapsing space...

The Messiah Complex
Please* don't misunderstand me
I know this had to be done, things
were growing more rotten by the day
and sudden amputation was our only choice, but

I still feel you, like
fingers grazing skin, I feel you
like a heart that never left this chest
I still feel you, and

Though we had to cut away
the decayed flesh of what is
I am still trapped thinking about
what was, and what could have been

My heart is still full of tomorrows
and I need you to know
I will never love again, not the way I loved you
never that way

Each path before, led me to you
but somewhere along the way, we took a detour
and I can't stop thinking; Is this how it ends?
is this the way true love was meant to die?

Severed heart, bleeding out within my hand?
I'm only human, and there is a limit
to how much pain I can endure
and even though you're gone

*I can still feel you beating in my chest
A phantom limb is the sensation that an amputated or missing limb (even an *****) is still attached to the body and is moving appropriately with other body parts
A repost.

Born
There's light at the end of the tunnel
This is what you've been taught
This is what you hope for
This is your wish

Wish
Wishes don't came true
this is just a fairy tale
No huntsman to save you
Never was a Superman
No Arthur to pardon you

Your sins are your own
Your vessel to wear
your skin
they feed on you
Define you
Leach on your soul

You opened the gates of hell
now the devil is upon you
not us
Upon you

So you turn back to God with shame
but he wouldn't talk to you
you seek more
Weep more
You hope for mercy
You wish for heaven
but heaven!

Heaven is already gone

Heaven doesn't exist
Heaven didn't exist
heaven was never here
you opened the gates of hell
now you wish for heaven
but wishes!
Wishes are just fairy tales
There never here
they were never here
Should be read very fast and intense
You
Gotta
Take
A
Step
Back
To
Really
See
Everything
Seriously...
