I inhaled upon it
like above,
It filled my lungs,
Washing over breath and
I felt calm,
As life exhaled upon the surface .

They lay wrapped
in cotton sheets
and each other.
Cigarette smoke
combined
with the smell of ***
on the air.
She watched him
watching her.
Words hovered
within the silence.
Whatever else,
at least they
had this.

I'm Happy
   Compared to
       my dark shades
            of my past..

She slithers into
A silk dress of midnight blue
Adorned with diamonds
