Regardless of the pain
And the manner that I could let it show,
Or those crowded buses,
That could have passed to cause delay,
     A heart still leans away.
It has to be taken far
From it's last scene,
     Forever.
     Your heart should lean away.

I take it madly here within me.
I would hold your escaping hand,
Though its phantom would mock me,
**** me with its slow release.
Our first promises wander now,
And are to be found in new lovers like
Pups, like cygnets, like old nets
     Drowning in their love.

In this suffering, love, of then
And our future, faith and memory,
Your silence will come, storming
Into me. I will be riddled
     Past your shadowy goodbye.

And I will move,
A tired flame leaning into the shores,
Glowing like embers all over the land.*

Within this lonely now
Under blankets of night
Sunlit absence departs on beams of light

In the middle of this nowhere
The soul slips away in every direction
Riding a quietly tragic wave; a cosmic infection

Once a roar
Now a sigh
This love once burned like stars that never die

And now that ten thousand years can't save this life
We find ourselves together alone
Destiny shipwrecked us before we were even born

You were a secret hiding in the open
Must have turned a blind eye
Found a supernova posing as a clear blue sky
Beauty offers no "safe distance" - Only beauty

Such a shame

Excuse me if I write my style,

Excuse me if I shoot a smile,

Towards your direction,

I can't help but question what went wrong,

And excuse me if I stare for too long,

I guess it's true, what I said about you being so beautiful,

And every time I write a love poem it hurts,

Like a thousand needles stabbing me at once,

But the one that hurts the most is the on that shoots my heart,

Cause I remember the time we said I love you,

I remember the late nights, with some but not many verbal fights,

It was like, we were on a cloud in flight,

Moving just right,

And every night I say it to myself,

I lost the most precious thing I ever gained,

And you took a chance with me, to let us be,

But I guess another go is too much to ask for,

But know I still think of you, still dream of you,

But if I can't get you back then this thing I felt was not real,

Will soon be,

Cause i am here and your not next to me.
Utterly enchanted 'neath
  mesmerizing constellations,
as an entranced blue moon
    swoons over sparkling
           celestial diamonds,
cello's were eloquently playing
  serenading starry stratospheres
     within an endearing melody
           and milky ways of poetry,
simultaneously syncopating
   strumming pizzicato heartstrings,
tuning our harmonious passages
      of rhythm and rhyme 'pon
apricot mist sunset horizons &
   seraphic skies rendered of
          lapis lazuli sunrise grandeur

Summer rain:
the epitome of endless ironies,
like joyful pain,
and a bloodhound befriending a fox.

yet precisely through ironies we realise
how sharply contrasting these emotions are.
like how the eyes see nothing but lies,
and how things are only beautiful from afar.

perhaps, only through these ironic moments can we truly feel
the primal nature of emotions;
that lead us to **** ourselves
on the inside without hesitation.

y'know, just to make someone else happy.

We sat together,
Staring up.
A cover of white.
Wondering to ourselves
"Will we ever take flight?"

We could be the paper planes
That we've always dreamed of being.
Soaring
High above the sky.
Not realising.

The yearning for more.
Learning and growing.
Thinking.
Stopping.
Breathing.

We sat together
Wanting to be more,
Like the paper planes.
The ones we love.
The ones that soar.
I'm currently writing a play about paper planes, this is a snippet of it in short.
