Arcassin B
By Arcassin Burnham

Soul cursed from birth with sins that made me think
not to pretend in a wicked world such as this,

i swear i could give a **** about your opinions when
burned deep into the skin of a grudging bliss,

Met my love that i still know in my life but never
reached toward a goal where i could have that kiss.
i'm sorry.

Those angry words you’ve spoken
There’s no way to take them back
Unleashed the chain is broken
A wild dog gone on attack

Once unshackled, they live on
Like a cancer they swirled
Unrepentant never gone
Repeated to the World

Once calmed down and quieted
(Darth Vader’s voice you used)
Strongly your words rioted
The argument unglued

Apologies may follow
You hope (s)he hears you out
Remembering to swallow
Those words from your own mouth

Negativity fleeing
A Disarmament for two
Be a peaceful human being
Why is that so hard to do?
He offered her the world
But she said she only desired his heart
He paused for a moment in complete silence
As he did not know where to start...

Jemoh
It's so prevalent
No day passes without a mention
Be it a Devine prophesy
The apocalyptic revelation

To be human is to war
The unfortunate experience of battles Unknown
Thoughts that occupy our inner minds
The traumas of war are real
Are there winners in any war!
It's clear that there are victims everywhere

A distraught progeny
Desensitised through their experiences
Dispossessed of their inheritance
Disposition end from what they hold dearly
Living a nomadic existence
Despised whererever they go
Disintegrated from society
Due to a fear of the Unknown

Viola
Men want breakfast in bed
and morning head
They want their clothes laid out
and your legs splayed out
They want the house clean
Do what you're told
Don't get mean
Never question whether things
aren't what they seem
Know your role
Know your place
Don't make up your mind
Make up your face
Rear their children
but keep your figure tight
Those stretch marks he gave you
are an ugly sight
Treat your man like a king
But who is protecting the queen
Who maintains the home
And raises the kids alone
Who works but finds time
to do what you do not
And you throw it in her face
all the **** she bought
So you would love her
As she thinks you ought
She wants to be perfect for you
but you tell her she's not
So she obeys her curfew
and never stays out late
You tell her what you hate
that she does
And she gets frustrated because
She can't please you
You're always at unease
So she bends to you
Breaking her knees
While she's down there
she doesn't pray
She tries to tease you
To make you laugh and play
Because you expect of her
What you neglect yourself
You make both of your lives
A living hell
The fire burns her
as she struggles
to earn your affection
The way you treat her
a reflection of how you feel about yourself
Because you know
what she does
You could never do
without her help
All these men
made themselves kings
Thinking rings were chains of slavery
Women calling themselves queens
Lacking any bravery
I didn't go to college
For nothing
I didn't come.this way
To find love
I couldn't strive as quickly as
My friends did
I don't have a job
Doesn't mean I don't appreciate
Everything
I'm the car
Your re the engine
Fuel me
So we can both drive away
To Paradise

The metered verses I draft
The soulful songs I sing
The seductive poems I write
The adorable words I spill
All these, are no longer for you

But I am not selfish
I am leaving some for you
Some pretty
pretty bad words..

… Curses …

The curses are for you
So yeah. B*llsh*t
I just need it.
