the deadly poet

beware of her
she can make you feel
and make that ice heart of yours
beat

to her rhymes you will be moved
her words will make you cry
it will make you feel
the pain she felt,
or the love she wanted the world to know

beware of her,
because if you love this deadly poet
she will carry you far and wide
across continents,
and seas

she will sway you away in reality
and bring you to her world

she will let you feel the love she feels for you
and you will drown in it
you will realize that her heart only beats at the sound of your name

you will be hypnotized,
you are now under her spell

but you have to realize
that this deadly poet
is sad inside

no, she cannot tell you exactly why
but let her poem speak to you,
do not force her,
but rather understand her

and if you commit half-heartedly
then leave her,
she doesn't need you

no, she needs a person,
who will be strong for her

someone who will watch her intentsely
the way she does to you
and you need to admire her imperfections
as if she couldn't be more perfect than she already is

leave, if you can't understand this world she lives in
where both reality and fantasy resides

because if you never see the sun when you look into her eyes
while she sees the whole universe within you
then don't fall in love with her
because surely she already loves you
the moment she wrote your name
on a piece of paper accompanied by a rhyme

I lay in my bed as I stare at this phone
this brick of technology
I'm waiting for it to tell me love story
A love story that is so powerful that it makes anyone crack a smile
the only way for it to tell me is through the phone vibrating.
My phone lights up to let me know that the phone host a story
the story hosted a text message from you.

They are a
family, who
have become one.

Brothers to the end,
protect each other no
matter what may come.

They go where they
must to do what is
right, to keep the wolf
from the door, to
keep there country
safe from the dark night.

Two lips met in the forest,
Sighing South and heaving North.
They prayed with words unspoken.
Drinking in the dried tears of sated loneliness;
Chewing 'pon the swelled pride of ancient lusts.

An ethereal plume drives the dew-soaked petals closer,
Until neither root nor stem can discern their place.

Two lips met in the meadow,
Singing East and chanting West.
They pursed with anxious anticipation,
And parted with baited excitement,
While the ghosts of lovers surfed upon their hums.

Two lips.
Are as one.

Frozen garden statues stare
Blankly into nothingness
Eyes that see all but do not
Perceive anything.

I am frozen, cold as ice,
All of me is blank and numb.
I have eyes that see as well,
I'm just a statue.

you weren't meant to be pretty.
you were meant to burn the sky down,
to splatter the earth red,
to destroy,
and to create.
you weren't meant to be pretty.
you were meant to be devastating.

we felt out bones snap in
every short movement
from ambitious recklessness
and hope of waking up to each other tomorrow

the creaks in our joints
need to be louder than
the girls calling me every night
because i want my voice
to only be calling you every night
when you cant sleep from
the sore eyes and bruised
lips

i wanted to be left breathless
and i knew everything i needed was in you
youre my lungs breathing deep
and exhaling until i choke
the closest ***** to my heart

i swear we just met
yet every thought ive had burns bright
from your tiny lantern eyes
and candlelit heart
