Gazing upon her eyes
I saw a window to a beautiful soul
The one which warms you when days are cold
The one who cares for you until your old
The one which gives you strength when it's gone
The one that will not let you suffer all alone
Gazing upon her eyes
I saw pain which she holds dearly inside
She once had someone special at her side
She fell for his charm and box full of lies
She was broken and her soul slowly died

Like Boxing

Poetry should be like boxing,
Short, swift, and powerful.
To the point and presented so that you never see it coming.
A hook, a jab, a firm right cross.
Hard hitting and unforgiving,
Never what you are expecting.
Watch it on your cable boxes,
Cheer and scream till you're obnoxious,
Because poetry should be like boxing.
HOLY COW GUYS!!! Thanks for all of the love and support you guys and gals have shown for this piece. Thank you!!!!! Jab, jab, hook!

drives me mad
the madness that
makes me sad
it's a sadness tears
can't explain
the sadness which as
a scar will also pain
it's one words can't
put into context
I just gotta live
under the pretext
of hope of the end
yet it's one
which never
ends...

waves of peace

flow gently over me

and fill me

ground to dust

then born anew

life glistens

sometime it is
in the act of writing
that we create the sense
of what we want to say

as if the process of articulation
when we are fishing for the proper words
is generating meaning
inventing itself in its own genesis

leaving the poet amazed

sometimes even the readers
