Summon your sorrows i'll take them away
Give me your emotions i'll absorb the pain

Life is hard try to understand
Even if i don't know you i feel the same

Maybe i need help more than you
but it seems that this is what i was born to do

I'll shed a tear for you
Your tears are to be mine

But

Could you shed a tear for me every once in a while?

My poetry *****

I’m so tired of writing

My fingers are sore

My poetry *****

I’m becoming a bore

Sticking a verse

In front of your face

Oozing with love

All over the place

Creamsicle colors

Metaphors thick

Wasting your time

Making you sick

Finding a title

Spending the time

Just like this poem

Something to rhyme

Or it could be free-verse…

Drifting on metallic clouds in copper spoons

dreaming in patterns of silhouette shadows

and my foot falls asleep

Maybe a Senryu

Read at your own risk

Dumb crap being written here

***** bags needed

Perhaps a Haiku

Softly floats the bird

Atop morning glory skies

**** thing **** on me

Or a Tanka, a Sonnet

A Villanelle or an Assterring

The last one is nothing

I made up the **** thing

So you see I’m no poet

Least not anymore

For what you are seeing

Is what you abhor

And I’m not complaining

Not here on this screen

My pen is on empty

I’m ready to leave

I’m so tired of writing

My fingers are sore

My poetry *****

I’m becoming a bore

He fell before his time
with a thud.
A loud thud.
Someone screams.
They gasp,
unable to speak,
unable to react.
Commotion.
Expressions of horror,
sorrow,
pity,
pain.
The wind blew silently.
Moments froze.
Somewhere that seemed miles away,
they see a twitch.
a quiver of hand.
A brave soldier of life,
our unsung hero,
claimed before time.
His heart stopped.
Their hearts stopped.
And then with the last drop of tear
shed,
****!!!
Another beautiful soul
disappears into thin air.
Dedicated to a friend who
committed suicide some time ago by jumping off the seventh floor of our institute.
May all the broken, departed souls
Rest in Peace in heaven.
And to all those who are in search of the meaning of their life and questioning their mere existence, I love you. Stay strong, you're worth it all.

i will never feel lonely as long as your name can float up on my phone.
you are the ocean surrounding me, but i don't feel like you'll sweep me up.
because you won't.
you just gently rock me over beaches.
you know where to take me.
i thought, since i was so surrounded by you,
i needed oxygen.
so i found oxygen in another.
but after sustaining me for 9 months,
he left.
i felt panicked, because surely the water would drown me.
i was wrong.
you kept rocking me, gently swaying me back and forth.
i underestimated you, i had no faith in you.
but you never let me drown.

The sound of the wind as it rustles the branches
A bluebird in song as the spring does arrive
Crickets abound with their vocal performance
It’s the music of nature that keeps us alive

Leaves on the path as they crackle and whisper
Soft falling snow as it forms on the ground
Squirrels that chatter from tree top to tree top
All that is nature a beautiful sound

Long distant thunder that rumbles so proudly
As if to say hey there look up at me
Rain on a tin roof that taps us in wonder
These are the sounds we can listen for free

The buzz of a bee as it searches its nectar
Acorns that tumble a thud to the earth
The peep of a new baby sparrow that’s hungry
Wondrous the beauty, the singing of birth

The calling of geese as they soar through the heavens
Trumpeting swans now a’ float on the lake
Children at play as they learn new adventures
A rooster that crows for its time to awake

A fog horn that calls to the lost on the ocean
The crash of a wave as it reaches the shore
Seagulls that scream us their maritime sonnet
Sandpipers squeal as they come back for more

These are the sounds that fill each walk of nature
Symphonies built on what’s real and so true
Songs sung of love that inspire the feelings
Beautiful things that remind me of you

Edward Coles
She draws black wings to her eyes
in a green-wash reflection, light
cascading through the shutters
of the ceiling fan, whilst red lips
rehearse a smile for her lover.

He will hold her like a wallet as
they pay their way through town.
It has been months since she felt
human touch, mammalian warmth,
or whispers exchanged across the pillow.

His eyes are on the screen as she
undresses and then falls beneath
his weight on the mattress. An empty
thud, a hollow sound, as his night is
given purpose, and then falls to sleep again.

She lies awake and wonders where
her night went. There was laughter
across the table, drinks stirred with straws,
and UFOs painting pictures in the sky.
The sea roared in the distance like

a passing train, and so there must be
an escape to a far-off land for her
to start again. Start again beyond
waistlines, over coastlines, and all ties
to employment. To start again

with a half-naked lover, who will
watch as the wind kicks up her hair;
as her skin freckles once more
in the sun.
