You're a sheet of white paper
So light,polite,soft and humble
And I'm a fountain pen
I slit my blood ink arm vein
With a sharp knife
And colours your life
And writes my love story
In your life's paper sheet
I love you so much
I promise,never you cheat
And My name's title
On your white skin
Reading your eyes
They tell me secrets
My nib always kisses you
& writes a note on your lips
You're my notebook
With pretty look
My red ink flows
make your face skin glow
I save you,not as locked
Coz you're in my heart's pocket

I'm glad to be a rose
Filled with beauty and grace
It makes me very happy
To be on display in a vase

I come in many colors
Red, pink and yellow
I make the girls happy
When given by a fellow

I come in different shapes
In many different sizes
Some people grow me
And try to win prizes

My aroma intoxicating
So delicate and sweet
Sometimes in your bath
Other times at your feet

I'm happiest in the garden
Growing wild and free
Reaching for the sunlight
Giving pollen to the bee
What is a Legacy
What's the equation that leads to the sum that is
A
Human
Life
The curtain draws as it must and
when it's done...
We spill out of this "Life" a grocery bag of idiosyncrasies, neuroses, hypocrisies, and other I-sees
What are we in the end but broken pieces of a puzzle we leave for others to assemble--who cares if the pieces fit.
Someone found a Kind word here
Another a Generosity
A memory of a Lie
Proof of a Cruelty
Acts of Humanity by a human being acting...
Who knows me well enough to define my Legacy?
Who else but "I"
I like spoken word poetry (a lot) and this poem works best if it's read in that type of tone.

I am not a woman
No, not a man either
No flesh so keep shush
Crossing borderlines
Of love and hate

Through letters
Perfectly distorted
By motion of emotions
Spilling ink through papers
I am born free to wander

My body is a story
Of pain and pleasure
Slipping through time
Yet keep sailing away
From oblivion*

-I am a poem.
Lately I have this strange feeling of not being a human anymore.
I feel like my biological composition is fleeing and what's left are pure emotions.
And it's actually good, I can be anywhere, be anyone, genderless but still has an identity..
-Equality and Freedom-
She was born just like all the rest,
When nothing seemed to be a threat,
But as she grew, day by day,
Her normality began to fray.

And soon her mother would be told,
That her life would be taken into the threshold,
Of a disorder that robs everything,
From a future that could have been riveting.

As she grew older, she lost all abilities,
But an angel is what they all see,
During life her opportunities became slim,
And then she lost control of every limb.

She never got to ride a bike,
Or learn to drive a car,
She never got to take a hike,
Or go out to a bar.

She never got to go to prom,
Or even paint her nails,
She never learned the words of Psalms,
Or told her most fascinating tales.

She never went on a date,
Or walked down the isle,
She never got to meet her soul mate,
Or even run a mile.

She never got to put makeup on her face,
Or order her own meal,
She never tied her own shoelace,
Or show how she did feel.

Her life was mangled by something cruel,
That acted like a menacing tool,
But she could always stay so calm,
Even when she was being brutally attacked by Rett Syndrome.
