I know it's only a passing phase
But I wish it could stop now
Sometimes I feel like giving up
But I've given up on giving up
I know am slowly evolving
Becoming a better being
But this pain is too much
The pain of purification is the strength of sanctification.

I wondered why I couldn't run like them but walk stiff
I realized the day they pushed me off that cliff
That I wasn't born to walk, I was born to fly
Born to fly

GENIE
It takes me great pain to write
And when I think am healing and getting it right
Life shines a blinding light
And then absolute darkness
To find my way, I grab a pen
Its inks mark my path
Each time I get twice stronger
Life gives double the strength
Life oh life
Can't you teach me in another way?
Death was once my
Greatest fear,
Though life was filled
With sorrow –

Attended with
So many
Ills, and darker
Still tomorrow...

I knew if I
Were to Escape,
My soul,
I couldn’t save!

Because this ill
Within would sink
Me lower than
The Grave

.
A poem of a sad, sin-burdened man before he met his Savior.
That fateful day, It slipperily slunk,
The shrewd and crafty Beast

And with Its slithery tongue It struck
Two hearts, and hell released

A fateful day! A fateful dint!
…The Fall of the Beloved

But then and there One gave the hint
Of rescue from Above

---

That fateful day the Beast would bite
The heel of The Great King

But He, in turn, would crush Its head –
Death’s prisoners would sing:

“The fateful Day eternity told,
Foreknown before the world!

The Lion came, brave and bold –
The Lamb slain from of old!”

---

And so, that fateful day was but
A part in the Grand Scheme

One fateful Day He’d come indeed
To ransom and redeem

That fateful Day upon a cross
He breathed His final breath:

“It is finished!” was His cry;
The death of death in death.
