Just watched the remembrance service
Just as I do every year
Commemorating all those brave boys and girls
Who over the years made the final sacrifice
Did they do it for God queen and country
No
They gave their young lives for the comrades beside them
Apologies to you believers
But they didn't die with Gods name on their lips
They died scared, covered in blood and ****
Yes
We should remember them
In the midst of tragedy
I forget how to write
How to express myself
I become incomprehensible
I fall silent
And let tears speak for me

music plays,
crowds cheer,

guns fire,
people scream.

couples dine,
everyone relaxes,

buildings are burning,
smoke fills the air.

the once bright tower,
is now dark as night,
as innocents are murdered;
is this right?

all we can do now is,
give our condolences,
aid the injured,
and pray for the living.
pray for paris.

I am the one who loved
You are the one who is loved
We are unfortunate lovers
With parallel destinies
dans une ville de ténèbres
peut-il y avoir de mille feux
de susciter l'espoir ne pas peur

-----

in a city of darkness
may there be a thousand lights
to spark hope not fear
Written: November 2015.
Explanation: A rough, alternate version of a haiku (7-7-5) in English, then translated into French (may not be 100% accurate). This comes after the terrorist attacks in the city of Paris on 13th November.
So many hearts breaking
So many souls shaking
So many people lost
Lost and looking for a home

So many tears they're crying
So many wish they were dying
So many being crushed
Crushed by the weight of the world

My heart aches for their losses
I cry out for the crosses
Scraped across their arms
Arms that were never meant to bleed

I wish I could reach them all
I wish I could hold them all
All the daughters who think they are worthless
All the sons who think they cant make it

My hands are not big enough
My heart is not wide enough
I know One who is..
But how can I make them see?
I was reading through my HP feed, and I saw all these young people, young girls, that were so broken so alone and they just wanted to be loved but didn't think they were worth that much.. And it broke my heart. I just wanted to hug them and tell them repeated that they are loved more than they know and they are worthy of love. You are loved so much that the Father sent his son to die for you so you could live, amd the son went willingly because YOU are worth dying for. I know this kinda seems like a preach....but if you could take one thing from this...just know that you're loved and are worthy of love. Yeah...Ima go now..

time will be done

40-60 Ah such rich mature blossoms, vibrant and vigorous under the warm summer sun

15-40 Fresh green leaves, the beautiful pastel shades of fresh spring flowers nurtured by gentle rains. Ready to reach full maturity and become even more beautiful...
All things can grow more beautiful with time
