This is the only thing  I can figure out to help me over come the past.
Jesus, Son of The Father
Hanging on a Roman Cross
Pierced for the iniquity of men
Killed for the love of His bride
With nails in His hands
Swords in His sides
Thorns on His head
His body slain
The body to feed His bride
His blood poured
The blood to quench the Church

"This is my body"
To eat of it
To feed the bride.
The Body of Christ,
The Bread of Heaven
To delight in the Holy Eucharist,
The spiritual feast, in Communion with God
To worship the Holy Name of the Savior

"This is my blood"
To drink of it
To quench the bride.
The Blood of Christ,
The Cup of Salvation
To delight in the Holy Eucharist
The spiritual feast, in Communion with God
To worship the Holy Name of the Savior

Hanging on the Roman Cross
God, The Son Himself crying to the Father
"Eloi, Eloi, lema sabachtani?"
"My God, My God, why have You forsaken me?"
Plagued by the false view of the Father
The pagan god in the hearts of men
Inherited with the humanity of The Son
While the sin of man
Hangs with the Son of Man

The earth shaking
And hearts breaking
With eyes crying
And law tearing
With the world changing
And The Son dying

The trueness,
The oneness
Of the Father
United with The Son and Spirit
In communion with The Spirit and Son

The Gifts of God
For the People of God
To partake in whenever together
In Remembrance of the savior
Christ died for us
Feed on Him with our hearts
And remember our union in Him
With Faith and Thanksgiving

We are saved by the triune God of grace
By the Love of the triune God of love
By the Blessing of God Almighty
The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit
Be upon us and remain forever
Let us keep the feast!
Allelujah!

Lost boy

I wanted to save
  piece by piece of
  his broken bones.

sooner, I've had realized

He was a lost boy.
   I tried to find him
   but I, got lost, too.

we enjoy
the hours after
the best days of our lives
more than we enjoy
the days themselves
// because writing about our memories is so much more wonderful than actually making memories //

Trauma

When fighting with depression
One waits for their mental shift
The magical moment when it is over
And their mood begins to lift

Sometimes along recovery road
You find a mental shift that's fake
It doesn't last for very long though
Sadness sneaks back in just like a snake.

I do not suffer from depression
But I do have my own traumas
I want to stay in bed forever
And never change out of the pajamas

I fight to put them behind me
In whatever way I can
Sometimes I think that I've moved on
But find I'm right back where I began

It's like wandering through a forest
But in the middle of the night
With a map I cannot read
And a tiny broken light

I know there is a way out
But I just can't seem to find it
And sometimes I think I see a light
But then fall into a tar pit

After years in the dark forest
After trudging through so much tar
I thought that I was finally free
And could follow the light of a star

That star was my false shift
For I am still fighting like hell to cope
I am still wandering in a never-ending forest
But I might have a tiny glimmer of hope
The writer's block is strong with this one.
I've been really in the mood to write lately...but haven't really had much time or inspiration.
Anyways, I guess this goes to show you can't force poetry......the result is a bunch of REALLY WEIRD metaphors....Like...honestly..I don't know where my mind is right now. I am so sorry. But oh well...I tried, and I wrote, and I feel better :P And that is the best I can do/ask for right now. <3
Just a little side note though, I am working on a new (pretty dang long) piece though that I'm hoping to share with y'all soon :)

The River Ice Has Begun To Vanish,
Famished, It Yeilds To The Sun,
Piece By Piece Its Body
Succumbs To Ripened
Heat; Slowly It
Is Devoured By
The Current
Until It Is
Gone:
Time
Eats Away
At The Winter's
Impending Hold
On The River's Bubbling
Laughter; Sought After Due
To Its Delightful Chattering
Which Gurgles Peacefully Within The
Tender Summer Nights Beneath The Stars
Time.. What Are Your Thoughts On The Process?

In sweet spring when flowers grow
and trees bedecked in living green
shall cast shade upon moss and fern.
Cedar, pine, beech, ash, and oak
amidst firs and evergreen,
dazzle with drop of morning dew
and laced in spider silk.
In spring forest come alive once more
as does all living things around
with fragrant air to breathe.*
