Crush
All those
Tender
Touches

Crumple up
Yourself
Stop holding on
Just crumble

And stay quiet
For an uncertain time
Just once

Then

Claim the sun
And obtain
Even more

Red
Your color
Shines
So unconcerned
A poem I wrote a while ago.
Who would've known it'd fit so perfectly to what happened, after writing it.

If there's you and me
Wenwenchi May 2021
If there's the sun,
What am I

If there's whole,
Why am I still breathing

If there's everything, unfolding
Beautifully,
What should I do

Except
Accept
Being less

If there's you
There isn't me

Melt in my arms
Drip of salvation
I too long for more than this

Tell me

Why are there no stars
on the other side
of the world

Why does the air I breathe
make me feel sick
to my stomach

Why does sleep make me feel tired
and being awake helpless

I was promised so much more
but what are promises for in the first place
when there's no blue blue sky
to hold me tight
and to whisper
everything will be alright
