Dusty universe
with sprinklings of light,
you're a magical pondering.

I wonder if you wonder back.

Then expanse hits me.
Fascination of winsomeness
in elements crashing,
forming new star clusters,
nebula unknown or yet to be
sowed, beckons an idea of
horror in mediocrity. How
should one stand out
amongst your immense glory?
Will effervescent bubbling spectrums
with spiraling arms of some
galaxy suddenly singe
any existence known to man?
Could any man guess your plan?

Earth shattering revelation,
I'm guessing there is no plan.
So I'll make my own,
and let all this revolving
and evolving
take care its' own.

crawl inside of my body,
navigate through all the broken bones,
acclimatise to my blood to make me comfortable,
and find the delicate part you like about me.
then set it on fire.
i like it when lovers leave scars.
to the flames to come. To Jackson.

Vortex

An old man's head:
a bucket full of lies.
A vortex swirls there like
confetti at the ticker tape
parade of a traitor.
Fragments adhere and disperse
becoming ephemeral poems
that mean nothing for a moment.
Whoever and whomever become
a jaded lump of whatever.
That empty head contains
multitudes of nothing that
never quite achieve something.
Poems made of offal.
Thoughts never finished.
Whenever he is, he has been,
he will be. Vortex like
water in a flushed toilet,
disappearing into ****.
Unspoken words sounding loud
in a cistern of silence
where nobody pretends to listen.

There may be a thorn
In my side, but you have such
Beautiful petals.

I bore the bruises and screams
and shattered inside
believing that it was my fault
for being battered to resemble a bruised peach,
berated to resemble an infected wound.
I tried to shield my frightened heart
from his prey like stature
and sadistic mind;
but he was clever,
he didn't let his barbaric hatred get in the way
instead
he repeated the broken promise of love
and abused my battered body
until I could not take the pain
and crumbled into a small bird
with no wings.

Call me crazy
But I miss you.
I miss everything we had.
It makes it hard to start new.
Call me crazy,
But I still think of things
That I could have changed
To avoid this sting.
This sting I feel in my heart
From the loss of you.
Call me crazy,
But my love for you is true.
Months have passed,
So why all of a sudden?
Now the anger is gone;
I can mask the truth with nothing.
I miss how we'd make love
And go to get food right after.
Hair a mess, Sweatpants on
Car rides filled with laughter.
When we weren't fighting,
We were amazing together.
Call me crazy,
But I still believe in our forever.
There was someone before you,
But can I even count them?
Because the passion we shared
No one could even begin to fathom.
Through all our fights,
Why would I stay?
Because you were the only one
Who could take the pain away.
Call me crazy
But even with the bad,
I'd choose to rewind time
Just to experience what we had.
I'm fully aware now
That I've gone insane.
But just to be with you
I'd take that claim.

You swore you'd never love again
That you'd hardened your heart
Stiffened the walls of the four chambered *****
That Cupid's arrow would bounce off
That no love could move these stiffened walls
Then...

... Now
Your palms cradle in his palms
Your head gently on his chest, ears counting his heartbeat
His fingers tracing love letters on your back
Eyes closed, savoring the images of him they've captured

Well, Well, Well...
Look who's all lovey dovey
loving and ****...
A spur of the moment piece. No title cause I don't think it needs one
