A melody so familiar
I could not place
Heavy on my heart
A memory erased
Perhaps purposefully
Like a slap in the face
Do you really know pain
The kind that drains
It drains the light of day
I run from such pain
Dare it be ordained
Dare you use faith to explain
Really some were made monster
In the sight of the beholders
Why, for your benefit
Yet you haven't got a clue
What I've lived through
What my heart has felt
What my eyes have seen
Still I envy you
And your place in this universe

Her elements
I hold dear
In the hemispheres
Of my spirit

The sigh's of the mighty
The vision's of the wise
In the flowering of flesh
She bears her inside's

Aesthetic blooming
The pagan's daydream
Her creation bleeds forth
   Into spirals of inspiring streams

   There shall the artist reside...

A song was playing
In my head
When they came and
Took me away
It beats upon my bones
'Till this very day
But
I refuse to believe
I’m bad
No matter
What most people says

The prosecutor pointed
Till the end of days
The judge slammed
His gavel
And put my *** away
It never was completely over
As if the debt was never paid
Now I wear society’s
Mark of sinner Cain

Moving faster
Than perpetual motion
My awareness  jetlagged  
By cosmic gamma waves
Impure tainted toxic
Environments
A spirrowling array
Of wayward souls
Vibrating really low
Unfortunately

My witness
A sporadic blackhole
Blinking in and out of existence
My spirit a fragmented broken sky
A partial day and a long night


For tonight
I'll drink a beer
And live the lie
That this dream of life
Shall never die

A rain of wonder fell upon
A land of broken dreams
Left its rainbow bright and brilliant
As any dreamer's seen

No sooner did the dreams come true
The cloud returned to gray
And left me in this dream state

My life is full of
Ups and downs
I asked my girlfriend
To read my poems
She said that she didn't think so
Unfortunately
She has no poetic soul
Dry inside I die
All my living is but a lie
I seem to have traded
All that matters
For an easy loveless ride

I can’t bear to live a lie, but I do
Hidden from sight the what, where, when and who
There once was a bogeyman under the bed
Sin was his deal, his desires were met
But he's okay now
'Cause that part is dead

Lies can defend against purposeful blame
When people who know catch wind of the same
One day they're here the next day they're gone
With such wind at ones back I could hardly stay long

I apologize
If I seem removed
From certain subjects
That I find don't amuse

But it's on to the next
A safe choice you bet
Why should I stop to drool
It's not always about
   You know who...

And so it isn't easy
The hardened shadow
Thoughtless stare
That last breath of air
The brush of fate
Painting aimlessly
Across the canvas
Of our last prayer

Those who peak
Above the clouds
With desertion
Clear and free

Observe the globe
Through rational eyes
And this you just might see

It's not the color of your skin
But a state of mind
That deserves
To live and breed...

From beginning to end
I am the hearth fire
Burning within
There is no taming

Forces of nature
Connect you to I

I am the magic
You felt in your youth

While running amuck
through life's despair's
I read the book of love
and you best beware's

Magic glories
  impossible feats
the breath of new life
enlightened me!

Sort of a firm footing
but more a stumble
my religious heart
caught the ball an fumbled

Fear not humanity
For I know you're out there
In the midst
Of this fanatical continuum

Anchored by compassion
Hearts still able to grieve
The ones who know
Without a doubt
Their leaders do deceive

The tears that fall
For the fallen souls
The dreamers of peace
The Devil's Foes

Hear me now
My fellow human
Break down these walls
These institutions of soul
Take charge and guard
The Hierarchies of reason
Embrace Humanity
And refuse to let go...

He was renowned
For his old school ways
How could we go wrong
So we put him on stage

He dropped his pick
And in front of the crowd
He bent on down
And started fiddling around

He bumped his head
On his guitar fret
Then missed his solo
And jacked the set

Now the women
Have all gone crazy
And the dogs
No longer howl

Fetch us a pitcher
Of beer

Monsters
Bigger than life
Eternally reasoning
The profits of strife
Wars in the badlands
Guns on the streets
So many monsters
Roaming the world free

Cowards
Living in fear
Fighting the monsters
Year after year
On guard all the time
An eye stuck open at night
No sooner we walk
Then run for our life's

A cloud of unrest
Sets on our minds
Because monsters
And cowards
Are one of a kind

Human!

Colorful words and brilliant metaphors fill the canvas of our soul
Shadows become illuminated to where the heart can see its own reflection Exposing the immortality of our eternal awareness
The words of the timeless Witness shine forth in a breathtaking “Awe!”
And within that brief moment the true face of God is realized
Like a song that speaks to the innermost part of your being
A dream of such wonder that you struggle not to awaken from
This passion for expression, this emotional release
An ascent to heaven
A fall from grace.
All within a word...

Young and alone I was left home
When I heard the creak up stares
Chill bumps ran down my spine
As if it were only a matter of time
Before the killer would pounce.

Slowly reason seeped in
I recalled what my parents had said
The house sometimes settled
And
That tree out beside the house
Would brush up against
Causing creaking noises

Although the feeling was quite real
There was no killer in the attic
Unfortunately
Feelings can not always be trusted...

How long can we keep this going
Our leaders are bought and by the establishments stolen
We have no say, we lack the speech$$$
Our lack of money is what they seek
The status quo, evil on earth
Military Complex
Wall street
Big Pharma
The beast gives birth!

That's what I saw on the news
God help the earth!

Superstition
Is the foundation
Of magical beliefs
Supremacy mindsets
Secret police
Religious in nature
Invisible in being
Chosen for the obvious
Position as kings
  
All others are animals
If they're not one of us
Direct them to
The back of the bus

If supremacy is the image
Of some intolerance maker
Perhaps love
Is the holy role breaker!

When my words of love reverberate
over our world of contention
Please know, I’m not trying to trick ya
with fad, meme nor poetic inventions
No, that’s not my intention

I just want to let you know
I know we don’t always agree,
and even though…
I love you just the same!

Vaguely I recall
Shiny little eyes
My precious baby girl
Feedings in the nights
Heart beat to heart
Now but a stain on all my art
Two small boy and a baby in toll
Three years of the single parent roll
The rest well, most of us know
The pain of losing everything
Even our own soul's
So many the years
I let the pain
Take the wheel
And steer
In my dreams
I still hold my baby dear
A tinny fragment
A tear drop of ink
Brokenness runs deep

Until my demon sleep
A stumbling block in my serenity

Please tell me you felt some kind of connection
A passion for life or a creative thirst

Truth is I don't actually care
Hell you can get my words out there everywhere
In the flesh as well as in the stone

I choose two words
Heaven & Hell
Both exist simultaneously
In the same place
At the same time
You can't experience one
Without the other present
Love attracts hate mingled with fear
Fear is a state of hell in my heaven...

Could I once fly, is this memory real
Could I lay hands on the sick to heal
Was I an Angel many lives ago
Or merely another being with a love for gold

I sensed a fall, I believed a lie

These wings they failed and turned to stone

A shadow blocked

The shadows creep

By what we believed

How long will you look away

See our world in decay,
all our children getting fatter.  
Pesticides, herbicides, aluminum in our rain!
PSAF’s in our blood cells, plastics in our brains.

Corporations chasing profits as the empire gasp for power.
The time is now to rise and fight and stop being a bunch of cowards!

In the rewrite of the holy scriptures'
That all religions shall obey
Adam and Eve
Shall live forever
In the garden where they were made...

Cain shall complete Able
At the carnivore vegan feast!
The Witch Of Endor shall be welcome
Along with the soothsayer of Beelzebuby

Moses shall have no need to leave
All humans shall be equally free
Love shall engulf the Egyptians
All shall get along according to the inscriptions
  
The patriarch shall be forgotten
Jude shall not be boughtten  
Noah shall need no ark
Job shall posses a pair
Satan shall posses a heart
Jesus shall not be so rare

The Psychedelic Mushroom shall replace
The trees of Eden
You shall meet up with God
Every time your eaten

Certain Heavens shall be open to cheaters
In fact to them and all sin repeaters

And in my favorite book
The Book Of I-say-so
I may change my mind
And even though
I will always love
All my foes
I assure you
No one shall ever grow old!

As a mere rhymer
I have nothing to prove
To the editorial readers
Nor even their muse
No need for their "ahs"
Nor even their "oohs"
My rhymes are aimed
At the poetical crew

Creativity is a savory drug
I get high on what you say
Aesthetics fill my restless heart
Colorful words paint my day
On and on I read and rhyme
With folks I've never met
Voice's of the kindred kind
Never a regret!

In a sudden absence
A void can appears
I haven't felt this
Empty for years
Subconsciously
Abandon
Rejected
Denied
Quickly
And swifftly

While the shadow
Of love still remains

Wisdom emerges, compassion transcends
Logic refuses to accept there's an end
Life seeks meaning, people seek love
It's all the way down and all the way up

Imagination stirs the ocean
Dreams surpass the sky
Words flow forever
Through a universal mind

I can feel the rain
In the thirst of my prayer
The mud on my feet
Dark clouds everywhere

Now storms are forming
In the desert of drought
The crops are growing
My prayer has no doubt
