too many poems
too many poets
describing the
same **** feelings
and yet
throughout the centuries
none of us
have ever found
the right words
// spent my whole life tryna put it into words //

thank you so much for the daily ♡

Ever enough

You said my name,
   so differently this time.

You spitted the three-word lie
   I'm too naive to believe—
   "I love you"

I sat in silence waiting
   for your next line,
   that I already knew
on the back of my mind

"But, I'm sorry"

I should be the one
  who's feeling sorry—
acted like I can turn your frozen heart
  into a golden one

You left me a question,
   I'm searching for the answer;

If love will never be enough, then what will?

selfish boy
took what wasn't his

young girl
more than a stolen kiss

deceitful boy
somehow gets his way

naive girl
wants him to stay

convincing boy
says all the right things

innocent girl
to the words she clings

irresistible boy
fills her head with lies

rebellious girl
morals she defies

detestable boy
destroys her heart

hopeful girl
love was short

thoughtless boy
drops her, he's gone

poor girl
still holds on

Old Soul
I used to be a night person, until I knew
I would see you every morning. You are better
than my caffeine kick, to get me through the day.
The other day, I told you that I
loved night time. Puzzled,
you asked me why. Little did you know,
It is because in my dreams, I am
always with you. You called the day,
gorgeous, which made me jealous. For I
will never be as beautiful as the morning sun,
that you love so much.

I still have weird fantaisies about you and me
I wish
You were in my emergency contacts
When I get drunk
I have your name on my lips and my silence as a price
I walk on eggshells just to keep being your friend
I wish
I could stop, but drugs are a too tough
And I don't know how to quit you.

Hang me not
I will undo the knot.
Lay me in a cot
As I boil in a ***.
Teach me not to lie
When you cut my pie.
I have nothing but my tie
As I get high.
From telling you How Perfect You Are
Yet you talk me down and drive away in your car.
