in this
pocketful
        of limbo
          the distance rises
               in curls of smoke
        a prairie fire
siphoning into
crisp edge
           of forest
          Inside my
uncloaked ventricle
primeval forces
turn my blood into
dusted gold
as they pump
        sacred texts
into my oxygen
      They roll your quintessence
upon my fingers,
            playing inside
     my psyche's
wild ache
a spread of orifice
in spellbound mantra,
       as I spit out
          the
            hairy thorns,
a holy purge of
   internal
        engravings

Somehow ---
like a miracle,
I grow ripe seedlings
from deep within
            my womb
as I trip into
a universe rising
I take wisps
of your grace
as it brushes
the jut of my
astral collarbone
You are always
         grounding me
                    like this,
               my tongue
              tripping
         over velvet
stance of warrior
        assuaged into silk

        Without you,
I might be
whisked off into
the periphery
of chaos
but instead
       I am simply
tied to
      the urgency
of the little novas
about to
        explode

While I wait
            I tend to
              the wildfires.
     to make sure they
                   are still burning
I keep my honey
wet and fresh
upon your
                   lips,
let my pores
drip moonpools
    into your glistening
wet of mouth
and only when
          it is time
I let the whole of
           me burst
into the
      fire -wrapped
tips of
   stars
suits the mood!!

(Long, long ago,
when people still
believed in witches...)

-To wander
longingly through
the forest in search
of mystery, but
she herself was
a haunted house.
When night comes,
the whole witch chorus
follows anon.
On brooms of blazing
embers they ride,
Jumping out
of Hell-fire.
The wind is hushed,
The stars grow pale
while the black cat cries
to the moon.
It was All Hallow's Eve,
the ancient ones could tell.
Where ghosts haunt their
graveyard,
Until the morning stars sang
together.

(Here, in the forest,
dark and deep,
I offer you
eternal sleep...)
Happy Halloween!!!
Eye of newt
          toe of frog
                scale of snake
                              bark of dog.
A cauldron boiling
                         over an open blaze
its vapor makes
                        an eerie haze.
A pinch of this
        a pinch of that
              a magic broom
                    an old black cat.
Cobwebs
            Spiders
                  creaking floor
                       scary shadows
                                 on the door.
                                     Howling winds
                                  pouring rain
                              curtains lick
                        the window pane.
             Groans
          and
              moans
                      a Ghoulish scene…

TRICK OR TREAT, IT’S HALLOWEEN!!!
~
Inspired by good old Shakespeare’s three “weird sisters”, Scene I of Macbeth.

“Round about the cauldron go;
In the poison’d entrails throw.
Toad, that under cold stone
Days and nights hast thirty one
Swelter’d venom sleeping got,
Boil thou first i’ the charmed ***.
Double, double toil and trouble;
Fire burn and cauldron bubble.
Fillet of a fenny snake,
In the cauldron boil and bake;
Eye of newt, and toe of frog,
Wool of bat, and tongue of dog,
Adder’s fork, and blind-worm’s sting,
Lizard’s leg, and howlet’s wing,
For a charm of powerful trouble,
Like a hell-broth boil and bubble.
Double, double toil and trouble;
Fire burn and cauldron bubble.
Scale of dragon, tooth of wolf,
Witches’ mummy, maw and gulf
Of the ravin’d salt-sea shark,
Root of hemlock digg’d i’ the dark,
Liver of blaspheming Jew,
Gall of goat, and slips of yew
Sliver’d in the moon’s eclipse,
Nose of Turk, and Tartar’s lips,
Finger of birth-strangled babe
Ditch-deliver’d by a drab,
Make the gruel thick and slab:
Add thereto a tiger’s chaudron,
For the ingredients of our cauldron.
Double, double toil and trouble;
Fire burn and cauldron bubble.
Cool it with a baboon’s blood,
Then the charm is firm and good.”

I miss you, sweetie
Miss you so much
I miss you, sweetheart
Miss your loving touch.

I miss your smile tonight
I feel you, my dear;
Sigh, I have no right
to love you anymore!

Do you smile
like you did before?
Do you have memories
with me?
I miss you, darling
I miss you much more
I still think of you,
but do you miss me?

How about you tonight?
Can you hear me, sweet?
Where are you now?
I am looking for you!

You're still in my heart
like a queen
Have a great night,
Happy Halloween!

I came from the north,
With my strings and guitar.
My family put their hopes in me,
So I may go far.

I wander these streets,
Alone and cold.
Forgotten stories,
Never to be told.

Every corner I turn,
Every house I pass.
I see sad faces,
Who never made it.

Lonely souls,
Saddened loss.
Sadists,
Whom all is lost.*

Alas, I couldn't go far,
The streets defeated my,
Strings and guitar.

Now I watch the cars go by,
Wishing I could have has a better life.
I keep trying,
Trying so hard only to fail.

I failed academics
I failed love
I failed life.

I keep trying,
Trying so hard only to break.

Breaking promises
Breaking hearts
Breaking us.

I keep trying,
Trying so hard to hold on.

Hold on to reality
Hold on to love
Hold on to life.

I keep Failing, Breaking, Falling
Holding onto broken pieces,
Cutting myself again and again.
