Suddenly, like a summer rain
You're falling ceaselessly
On my eyes
I think so
In the courtyard of my mind
You came so long ago.

The fire of separation of you
is burning hard
In my heart,
I think so
In the courtyard of my mind
You came so long ago.

When I feel hurt from your hate
Make me forget them
Memories of your love
I think so
In the courtyard of my mind
You came so long ago.

I'm ruined forever
But I still smile
And always will
I think so
In the courtyard of my mind
You came so long ago.

I am too alone today
But I'm still happy
With tender feelings
I think so
In the courtyard of my mind
You came so long ago.

wonder how the days have withered my leaves
into songs recalled and loves remembered
all along I thought the sun was shining
but then I got all old and wiser

amazing how the crystal clear of youth ambers     like
an ancient jewel

how these eyes got so much dimmer yet
brighter in hope in seeing things clearer
even though the distance blurred the close is
obscured

how then I found one day a jewel
among the crystals of a sand dune

is amazing again
I sit and analyze and I guess

it's karma
======================
Tensions want to evaporate
In burst lightening of the crying sky
but anxieties are not floating cloud
nor miseries know how to fly
depression enters like a slow sunset
and mania intensifies on golden dawn

Once upon a time,
There was a girl
Who met a Shakespeare
They were from different places
With the same passion, poetry.

She was hopeless, until now
He was all set for a bright life.
She walked in darkness
Then,he filled with light.
She had fallen once
Now he's there for a hand.

He was her Shakespeare
she loved his every lines.
He welcomed her into his world
The world of outstanding poetry.

she felt her ship has anchored
After a long journey in the Pacific.
Thought of writing a poem for my Shakespeare

Valsa George
It rained on and on.
The fire in the hearth
Had long died out.
Hunger grew,
Frustration raged.

Vultures swooped down
to feed on flesh.
Half willing, half resenting,
Surrendered, rather subdued,
Desires spilled over,
Bristles pricking
From ***** to *****
Thrusting and tearing
Devouring in greedy gulp

Waves surging past the log

Passion spent,
Hunger appeased,
Purse strings loosened,
Silver coins tinkled.

Amply paid,
Her wages of shame……
The toil not wasted!

The reel of Time unwound itself,
And the scenes, constantly replayed.
‘Exploring hands encounter(ed) no defense’.
Each day closed in ****** h(r) ut,
When the h(r) ut turned a ****,
She started to rot.

Feeble she grew,
Languid she became,
Body thinned,
Energy waned,
Ailments plagued,
And
Immunity lost!

Now,
She lives an outcast.
A wild flower
wilted by the wind!
A luscious fruit
blighted by the worms!
My sympathies are always with the marginalized and the exploited ! We could have been one of them, but fortune favored us ! This thought ever rules me !
