Silver lining
Antique finding
Intertwined fingers
Browsing eyes

Indoor maze
Shifted gaze
Can't see all
Noticing some

Vintage room
Old spittoon
Strolling past
Items forgotten

Mirror reflects
Dust collects
We evlove
But never change

Wild flowers dancing
in my fields
I no longer sway,

No more long flowery dresses
Or lilac perfume
scents.

I lie still.

I no longer drive
The untouched roads
Paved with gold.

I no longer sway.
I no longer move at any distant
Beat. I no longer move
At any sensation in my feet.

Wild flowers dance

in my fields
I lie still.

A storm is coming.
Can you see it rise?
Clouds on clouds,
Darkening the skies,

A whirlpool of seagulls
Their wings spread wide,
Observe from above
The swelling of the tide,

The sea as it churns
Angry and white,
Waves foaming and spluttering
In outbursts of light,

The air is like static,
Hear it crackle and hiss,
As it itches to experience
Lightning strike the abyss

The beach is deserted,
Been left cold and bare,
The ruins of sandcastles
Abandoned without care.

A storm is brewing,
Disturbed from its sleep,
Ruthless and wild
As it stirs from the deep.

Her hair danced in the breeze. A spirit that soared with the wings of an angel
She was both alive and broken
Her eyes were as bright as the moon, while tears rolled down her pale cheeks
Her heart was choking with memories, but she had forgotten what to love and be loved felt like.
There were times when it seemed if time had frozen like a broken record on repeat
All she could hear was the echoes of her lonely heart
She needed to let go so that her heart's scattered pieces could come together
And allow her to be whole again.
