I no longer have to
keep them chained
now my demons are
angelically tamed

I’ve no need for a smoke
no drink nor poke
Ya see…
I’m not like most folk!

I believe
and so I am
happier then
I’ve ever been!!

Do we need a reason to be happy?
I don't I just am!!

Here among the trees
leaves, birds and bees
breathing in summer air
the sun embraces me
into its life-giving energy
I feel loved
and part of the great mystery
each day is a homecoming.

Here I can just be me
fearing no judgement
or condemnation for my sins
but pure acceptance
and bliss.

This day, each day
is my birth day.

Oh Baby,
These still pictures seem to be running free
Tell me why your eyes have begun to move through mine
Just you, in a field of flowing flowers
The red and blue tulip hues
Wish and wave before your legs
And there you are, in full bloom

I am not so mad, that I believe I can touch the past
But I can feel, still today, the warming rose color upon my face
See, nothing ever truly gets washed away
We linger still
In a longing look just beyond our windowsills
My tortured rain has gone away
For these rolling fields and riverbanks, you have my thanks.
A heart of love beating so
Strong as the little birds
Sing along it's our favorite love song
And in my arms she'll be safe and warm
Forever in my heart with me and she's
Nestled away in my heart today she's
So happy and shes so loved she's smiling
So bright watching the stars shining tonight
And never a day she'll ever feel alone
Just listen to my heart beat
It's beating I'll love you
Forever with all of my heart
And we'll be together
Growing old and never
To be apart.

This is endless
no

This is all of me
trying

not to
end

endlessly
endlessly

i read the news

oh, <flame>,  out
shockingly

Calculating my years left

pushups tomorrow

poetry and poison
tonight
