Have you ever contemplated yourself?
Looking at yourself
Learning the little details
Personality traits
Behaviours that you bear

You think you are the person you want to potray
But it's all a lie
You're broken and sad
Hiding behind a fake mask
pretending to be someone else
Someone who is happy
You build up a character For a play
Wishing it was something real

Stay or go

I see you hurting
I tried to help you
But what's the point?
When you're pushing me away.
The nearer i get,
The further you go

Should i keep on trying?
To save you. To get close
But what's the point
When all you do is walk away.
Hiding from your pain.
Internally suffering alone

So Tell me
Should i stay or go
Do you wish To be fixed
or to remain broken

misapprehended

Filled with mysteries
Filled with secrets
A book so thick
No one bothered to read

Wrapped with the wrong cover
Mistaken for something else
An unread book
Never discovered

Such a pity,
For she hold memories
All because of a wrong interpretation,
She was a lost beauty.

My book stayed empty
As my pen starts to dry
Not sure where to begin
Nor how to start
The thoughts in her head
keeps accumulating inside
Not wanting to be written
But wanting to be heard.

And how much i deserve to be happy
To do me.

Isolated

Do you ever just sit there and realize that you mean nothing to anyone
you start feeling lost,
alone,
unloved,
and truly unwanted.
But there's nothing you can do about it.
So you just bury it inside of yourself

Hidden pain

What a pity
She had a pretty smile
so pure
that it enlightens others
But she's been hurt far too many times that she fakes a smile
A hidden smile
Covered by layers of paint
Unable to be scraped off

Shes Drowning in the sea
Hoping to emerge from it
However she's chained up
Unable to proceed
Unable to safe herself
