Without you
I can be me.
Without you
I can breathe.
Have you seen my head?
I think it fell off my shoulders.
And along with it rolled my thoughts.
They stumble and rattle,
Unable to be resolved.
I don't know what to do,
When just your presence makes me feel this way.
Have I stepped into a dream?
Im unable to beleive that this is real.
Where has that head gone off to,
Bringing my thoughts rolling along?

I think of Him
Of what He has done for me
He brought me up when I was down
He Comforted me
Never abandoned me
So this
This is my poem
Of Thanks

i dyed my hair black.
(well purple.
on accident
of course,
and then black to cover that)
but i love it.
but i was nervous to go home
because my parents choose to worry the most
when i am the happiest.
(my happy just must be different then theirs.)

anywayyyyyyy......

my hair is black
(potentially so is my soul
but who really knows)
and i saw an old frenimie
and do you know what that ******* said?
(quick. a little background:
this man loves to be feared,
will be the first to tell you he's an *******
and will never to admit to being your friend
but deep down is almost nice.)

"You look like Cleopatra!'
WELL DAVE I DON'T KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS
i mean,
i know what you mean
but what are you saying?

but then,
looking back,
i just laugh because
my dear, sweet, ugly former manager/friend,
Cleopatra is known for her beauty.
You gave me SUCH
a nice compliment!
Like that's in the
Top Five Compliments I Have Ever Received.
so i think i'll leave it black for a while
but i can already see
some purple showing through...
seriously idk if he was trying to compliment me, but i thought it was sooooo nice! ps i think this poem is actually about loving yourself no matter how you change, even if there are some people in your life who wont accept you anymore)

When you sit and stare at people,
As they go throughout their daily tasks,
Do you ever happen to wonder,
If the expression their wearing is a mask?
As they walk right on past you,
A smile drawn across their face,
Do you ever think that maybe,
In this world they actually feel out of place?
And when a mother catchers her child being reckless,
You watch as she speaks to him with fury,
Do you mentally chide her instantly, or wonder that if maybe,
That's her way she handles worry?
When a little girl of six,
Sits alone, watching everyone else,
Do you think that she is sad,
Or maybe that she just prefers to by herself?
So many times, so many cases,
We believe our own interpretation,
That our eyes and ears have sought the truth,
But then we learn, often too late, that they'd gathered misinformation.
Oh, all the countless times we see things,
And deem them to mean something of no such,
You would think the we would eventually learn,
Not to so quickly judge.
Often as humans, we see something and instantly make some conclusion as to what it means. That doesn't make it accurate, though. What we think we know can be completely different as to what it really is. However, I don't think we sometimes realize that. Sometimes we judge too quickly, too harshly, and it can often cause more harm than good.
You keep calling me.
Into the deep I go.
Thank You, that I know how to swim.
But could You tell me please....
Where is it I will go?
There's no destination here.
No knowledge for me to know.
I wait on you...
I pray to hear.
But sometimes I do doubt what will grow.
You promise so sweetly, everything I hope for...I pray it is so.
You will never leave me.
That alone I can know.
God has nothing but good things in store for us.
Give him your heart.
He wants to give you His desires,
And form your dreams into
living
breathing
art.
Captivate His heart

happens outside
when you work
on the interior.
Sitting under the tree
meditating
Smelling of a fresh mowed grass
Running along the river
I can hear the wind blowing
behind my ears
Listening to the Coltrane every
morning when I wake up
those are the pleasures
of my life, I thought.
Thought  boat has finally
set the fine course
Thought I've
reached it.

Still there is a lone bird
chirping deep inside.
Singing a new song
every time
I forget.

I think it's fine that
he is down there
I really don't know
what my life
would be
without him.
