Autece Soul
Tell my love the words that I am afraid to speak
From the waves of the ocean to the highest mountain peak
Expressed as my nature stays at a constant bliss
Fluent in the way I am able to entertain this
Your melody as it wraps a warm cloth to my heart
Protecting from all that dare to tear us apart
It flows, a strum of a string as it echoes afar
From the pedestal arose the goddess to shine as the star
As she shares her beauty with the world all to enjoy
Listen to her hum as her voice does not annoy
Rather it uplifts the soul as you feel the keys descend
From the stroke of the pianist to the bittersweet end

The piano sits abandoned
The keys collecting dust
And how I wish I knew
Just one sweet tune

I play a note.
I play a song.
It echoes down
The empty hall.

The sweetened tune
I used to play,
Has fallen flat;
Has turned to gray.

It doesn’t move you
Anymore.
I don’t know who
I’m playing for.

My favorite song
For my best friend.
It’s all for you,
It’s always been.

Like an old piano
Scratches along every keystroke
You played her,
Played her until she broke

i.

I shalt consign mineself
In a balikbayan box;
A snug hole to tryeth to **** air
Mine lung's tightly in lock.

ii.

On a plane, on a ship, in a bus
I shalt squeezeth mine carrion in;
Thinking of mine betrothed amare
How I must risketh mine life, for me to get there.

iii.

As I wilt meeteth her at the Sari-sari store's
Though I wilt be broke, no money, only amour;
Though tis love's not about money, or materialistic junk
As I thinkest all this, I thinkest soon ill break from mine trunk.

iv.

As the plane halt's, mine crate roll's around
Mine queen hath found me, in shock, her tear's cometh down;
Because I fleweth mineself in this darkly space
It was all for a purpose, to seeith the one I loveth, and her face.

his mind was stuck in an enclosure
the same thoughts were forever imposed
he did his best to regain his composure
that's when his reasoning froze

his heart was cold from exposure
forever, his tongue was opposed
he didn't know the way to closure
that door had already closed
In the height of summer
The pond shrunk to a hyacinth heart.

The kingfishers left for crystal streams
Village belles no more washed their hidden shames
Kids broke their frolics on her kissing splashes
And men dipped not in her to whisper secrets.

She prayed to hold through all the pains.

The sky heard her and sent her rains.
