drag the winter on
oh how i long
for an end to this winter.

the healing that comes
with the sunshine of may
the bounty we gather

around the hearth,
the lovers we remember
with the thawing of earth.

                  who would have thought
                   last summer would end?

Autumn pours her vintage, red

and rippling, into casks

of rough-hewn oak;

smokey avenues damp

with the exquisite balsam

of the gleaning season.

A variation on a theme. :)

‘I was drinking in the surroundings: air so crisp you could snap it with your fingers and greens in every lush shade imaginable offset by autumnal flashes of red and yellow.‘
- Wendy Delsol, Stork
Shed a tear
Release all signs of fear
encase my heart
With sadness as I depart
Visual laminations
My mind sees bright observations

So Lay Me Down!
With sword in hand
give me my mighty crown
As I myself, deuterate to sand
Let my love go on
Shall be shown with my face
My tears
Up high fears
Leave me to repent
For all hate that I am
I consent
For I am to blame

Hugging is that exercise
That melts the heart away,
Hug your child a little more
To melt those blues away.

Kiss the babies cheeks
A warm kiss on forehead,
Just to cheer that sullen face
And to pamper with all the love you have.

It's a tough time we are living in
No future prediction can be true,
Don't leave anything for tomorrow
Just finish all the task today.

Share the childhood
memories
Pen the thoughts somewhere,
Let the world know,

That you are a fighter,
And the fighter you will be tomorrow.

Throw away the hatred
Fill the home with love,

Throw away the anger
Bring peace instead,

Throw away the pain
Heal your heart inturn,

Throw away the anxiety
Fulfill the dreams in return,

Throw away the guilt if any,
Just re-live again,

One day at a time
Cherish the moments in your mind,

Your never know who all will make it tomorrow
Don't keep grudges anymore.

I watched you sleep
As my soul stared deep
Into your own.

Sleeping soundly
Breathing profoundly
You swore.

To be an angel
A beautiful stranger
Unknown.

Someone I owned last night
Someone I swore at last night
A sin we commited, just the two of us, alone.
I wish the night had lasted longer.

She smiled
And meant it

She laughed
And felt it

She cried
But still wanted life

I am a shadow
I am a crow

you create
my nights

when longing
for you

is my occupation
my eyes close

but I do not dream
I obsess

strangling any
other thought

that enters me so

there is one thing
left in this world

she is in pain
the quiet kind

there are no
cuts or scars

there are no
lumps or bruises

there are no
screams or tears

nothing is broken
nothing ever heals
