Lend me your smile,
stay here awhile,
don't ever defile
this embrace.

Capture my kiss,
The world is amiss,
Sunsets of missing
your face.

Beauty inside,
your laughter a ride,
hands coincide,
Possessive, and rough.

Awestruck, but scared,
Pricked, but repaired
The needle, she cared
I wasn't enough.

Sick with stronghold,
a promise so bold
someday, we'd grow old,
without interruption.

The voice in my ear,
no words, no tears,
your fragrance--not here,
her final consumption.

Time wanderer,
Life ponders,
Love fonder
but lost.

Since your goodbye,
no alibi,
plagued by
mental holocaust.
This poem is dedicated to the love I lost and will never get back to the love I exchanged for so much. I love you James Edmond and will never forget you baby. Today I am almost a year clean, and you would be so proud. I miss your scent of happiness and your smile of ecstasy.

...
    A breath of air
the closing of eyes,
    exhale; release
look around
    sigh.
Inhale again
    now hold this one in
I am full
    to the brim
All of me
    is within.

We see eachother
Through our screens
And we see nothing at all.
All of us,
Our pixels staged
Like empty vendor stalls.

Substituting eye contact with
Fingertips on
Static.
Everything emotional
Is frozen,
Mathematic.

I am longing inside out
For
Savage,
Revealing
Touch

Warmed not by
Electricity,
But by a
Carnal
Flush.
Let us not lose true touch with eachother.

Poetry moves from within our souls,
It's emotions pouring out
Covering us in rhymes and flow,
Like rain from the clouds

Infinite letters, words and phrases
In various permutations we play
Collaboration between heart and mind
Breathed into these pieces that we lay

Touching lives with our written form
Healing with words, what's poetically true
Freedom of expression, thoughts and ideals
Crying out in ink, until our sadness is through

Similar in thoughts but meander through individual routes
We all sing the same but to different rhythm and tunes
Inscribe our innermost but to varying worthy causes
We all draw inspiration but from the same loyal moon

A different form of art, yet art none the same
It's in the eye of the beholder, so they say
Poetry is life drawn in pen, it's not an erasable game
It truly breathes life, looking forward to each new day

**We proudly fly our diverse flags
United under one banner
We revel in words of poetry
In the hopes they'd last forever
Deeply honoured by the fact that the amazing "The Girl Who Loved You" would even consider a collaboration with me! Such an experience! Thank you TGWLY for this opportunity! Awestruck!

Dear Mr Cole,
                              I write an ernest plea
To crave forgiveness for my little Tryst
For as you know the homework set by thee
Is overdue, the deadline has been missed

He’d done the work, the best I’ve ever seen!
You’d be so proud of all his clever puns
But then we had a visit from the Queen
She’d taken ill and suffered with the runs!

We let her in to use the lavatory
But then we heard her banging on the door
She’d run right out of toilet paper, see?
And ordered us to quickly fetch her more

We did the only thing that could be done
I hope you understand Sir

Signed,

My Mom

The weeping shady willow slowly swayed in the soft summer wind
Beneath of which my most vivid memory begins
By the appeal of young lust in the days of our prime
We were drawn together to this moment in time

In a meadow of dandelions our bodies embraced
As she bared her breast my heart went to race
With her eyes of blue so innocent yet wild
It was clear to see she was no longer a child

The curves of her buttocks, the shape of her hips
Were as pleasing to touch as my sister’s silk slips
As if everything I ever wanted was opened to me
To share her **** ****** body, my soul finally free

As I nosed her belly ever so lightly I felt her quiver
Lower and lower I went as it turned to a shiver
So softly I touched as her virginity flowed
I felt as if I could peer into her soul

We shared in sweet passion to a deeper degree
I gently inserted as she pulled back her knees
For a while I managed to stay in control
When she scratched down my back it was time to reload

That day with nature we were naturally exposed
For lovin’ is like music, an art to compose

I do not feel a thing, my dear,
No, I do not feel a thing.
I notice not the looming clouds,
Nor the rain which they will bring.
I gave it all up...yes!, gave it all up,
Gave everything away.
But I've yet to miss a single thing,
At least as of today.
I do not laugh, I do not smile,
But, yet, I do not cry.
Nor do I feel the loneliness,
Upon the word "goodbye."
For I have learned one lone truth,
Of which I have no doubt.
That there is nothing in this life,
Which I can't live without.
