How dare you
Look down on them
Like they're made of sticks and stones
Words meant to create pain and fear
From which ...
...you never will atone

Far easier to create hate
Than to truly educate

Yet in the dimming of the light
You will send
Another generation
To be lost in banal servitude
Long after you are gone
They will carry wounds
That can never mend

The war they fight ......
              .......was over
Long before
They ever came to be
Yet you deem to cloak them
In your unrelenting hate
Then leave them to
That same suffering
As they slip further into dust

To be blown into obscurity
By the ever changing winds of fate

How dare you look down on THEM
Like they're to be used as your slaves
How long WILL the war fires burn
On through the futures
Of generations ...still being
Stoked by those
Now long gone......and rotting in their graves.

No ones future should be used
To pay for someone elses past

Breathe the bright moments in life
and hold them nearby.
Let them go gently as you would
release a butterfly.

Let love come to you
as a soft summer breeze.
Let it find you in a quiet moment
under a shade of trees.

Love will return in perfect passion.
Grasp passion with both hands
and hold onto it
until you have wrung
all the heat from it
you can.

Then release it as a sigh
of contentment.
Savor the perfect moment in life
but dwell in every remnant.

Life, love, passion & contentment
come to us all, friend ...
but they stay with those
who appreciate them.
Idk... just appreciating life.
I'm standing on a ledge
Looking out over a vast ocean
I feel small, insignificant.
Yet I admire its beauty, it's wonder.
What secrets lurk beneath those depths,
Will they ever discover,
all there is to know?
These feelings aren't shallow,
they aren't just meat and bone,
These thoughts aren't skin deep.
Think deeper
Deeper than the deepest trench
I'm standing on the sand
At the edge of the water
As the waves from the ocean
caress the shore
The water sweeps over my feet
I feel calm, soothed.
There's something in the ocean
I just find relaxing
It seems to heal all the wounds
Even though the salt may sting
I know that these wounds
will fade with time.
The sunsets over the ocean
revealing a beauty in which only eyes can behold
turning skies to the most captivating of pinks and soft oranges.
But it's the reflection of the moon upon the water.
That totally connects with my soul.
A light shining brightly over a vast ocean, yet it still gives hope,
that there are many beautiful moments within life.
No matter how vast or deep the ocean of your mind is.
I can hear waves crashing as I close my eyes.
Serenading my ears with its song,
they aren't rough like the pain that swirls inside of me.
it feels as though it is cleansing me of my sins,
with each wave that I hear
Another terrible feeling washes away.
All my hopes and dreams though far and distant.
Just may be reachable.
All I have to do is sail to reach them.
but for now, I'll just admire the view.
look at these stars from a distance,
one day I will shine just as bright
Somewhere in the future of my life.

My melancholy muse
break away from your
renegade romance,
sweep off the residue
of a fettered love affair.
Come rest in my abode -
i’ll sprinkle you with
moonlight dust,
adorn with flecks
of emerald plushes
and make you my birdsong
where your every blink
shall spawn idyllic themes,
your laugh
strum lyrics of exuberance,
and your touch -
an oasis in stratums
of drought.
