it will come when your heart is ready for it
you wouldn't see it coming
but it will arrive with just the right amount of everything

it will arrive and it will stay,
even if you don't pour your whole heart
it will stay even if you leave some parts for yourself

it will stay and not call you too much
it will stay and you wont have to beg

you will thank yourself for letting go of the wrong ones
because you are meant for bigger things
The gardenias bloom
All at once
Circling the silent pond
That sits still
Like fluid glass
Rimmed with silver
I stare at my grandma
As she forces a comb
Through the unruly strands of silver
Falling over her wrinkled forehead.

She has lived long
Eighty years now
She has seen men and women
Die for an ideal

I fervently hope
That she will tell these stories
Even when I lie in my
Deathbed.
Immortalise her please!

I'm a forgone conclusion
    and an empty promise.
    My words fail to inspire.
    My loves are always lost.
    Trouble always finds me.
    Read between the lines and
find the real me with you
inside my heart on my sleeve.

Dear Diary,

It had been a long span since we met

Heal my Heart while taking its pain.
Draw with anger and paint the drain
A deep breath A dye to stroke blue again
Dear Diary you are a pain reliever
to my Hurt Heart and Boiling Brain

Inking Veins

Times when the heart doesn’t feel its own beat
Lost, maybe some part of it forever displaced
Work makes sure, time is passed
Together, still doesn’t help
Stuck in some redundancy
Maybe, they work well, separately
Time and work
Maybe it’s for words to see

in the palm of her ruined hands
was a single seed

if she grew one flower
spring would be in her sights

but winter pulled her down
together they were miserable

she could not bring change about
and so spring never came around
