Gaze upon the light I shed, my own.
Never wish it to be yours
because I deny you the right to claim my light as your own.
Feel free to take from others except my loved ones and we will have no quarrel, they stand outside the bounderies of my concern
But as an acquainted soul of many lives lived
I bring one final gesture from the thought of agreements, promises and alliances that we might have made in a long forgotten past
"Take light from others and you will never shine true"

If you decide to never shine
I hope living in my shadow will bring you comfort and warmth.
My back is strong and shoulders broad
my steps are firm, my intuition a star in the distant horizon
The bricks of my path cemented in unwavering resolve
I will walk
with Heaven in my heart
and fresh air in my lungs
A smile on my face
and kindness in my eyes
With strength build on love
and an inner glow
that is rooted within
the foundation of my soul

Thank you everyone. It was a tough year for me. As you have known, i lost a parent a few months ago. Coming back here and writing  is like starting all over again. Smile was inspired on how i wear it on my daily routine in the office, even in tough times. This shows that i still have strengh and will to move forward. So i greatly appreciate everyone's support.
we sweat the small stuff and get upset
ready to deflect what we don't expect
storms spread and we get so wet
bad weather that we'd rather forget

we preset our heads to reject
whatever we don't see as correct
we've all bled and shed tears of regret
it's our necks that we try to protect

when letting two hearts connect
reverence has the better effect
it's the common threads that we neglect
instead of accepting we choose to except
I always try to choose my words carefully
Each syllable like an incision with a scalpel
Well intentioned and good mannered
In hopes of removing the ticking time bombs placed inside you and me by those that have left us behind
But one wrong slip
One accidental miscalculation
Obliterates the progress that I have so carefully tried to create.
Could one word have changed it all?
Could one different syllable be the reason that you are still here?
I wanted to give this piece a title, but I couldn't decide on one that I was satisfied with. If anyone has a suggestion I'd be glad to hear it.
Emotion so heavy
...Gears on lock
Feelings; I'm feeling Wavy
Emotional shock
when no objective is best for our protection
protecting ourselves would be the best direction
directing ourselves toward a progressive connection
connecting our minds to make a collective correction

correcting the obsessions that infect our perception
perceiving ourselves as the essence of conception
conceiving a brand new perspective of reception
receiving the blessing that we call perfection
In a Quantum Loop poem, the last line of each stanza must be used as a different form of the word, as the first word in the following line. It also must rhyme, or nearly rhyme. Rhyme scheme can be any way you want it though. In a double quantum loop poem, the first word in lines 2, 3, and 4 must rhyme.
the songs have all been wrote before
the poems all laid down in history
every thought and dream seemingly
has been explored
to the depths
of the last word the last letter
into the bare necessities
into luxury
said  much better
sung like it was there
from the beginning
that is what intrigues me
how vast the world of song and art and words
can be
making lives better
better said
touching all is my goal
I fail
but I have to try
and I can't sing
either
on key
We made a vow, you and I
In the sight of no-one
Other than our souls
Where the truth dwells
And awaits us

Miles apart within these isles
With hearts keeping time
Living within each other
Without touching
We wait
Until our time arrives
