i find that i write the best
just after a fight
just after i've cried
just after the tears have fallen

doesn't matter what story it is
happy, sad, mysterious
funny, tragic, ridiculous
i will always write it well

because any story i write
after a fight, after i've cried
is a story that gives me the most comfort
because any fiction

is better than this.

Deadication

There was a poet walking through the sand,
And he didn’t know it, but there were eyes on his footprints.
As he walked along there appeared a man.
The man he spoke of a world of fortune and asked…
Do you have anything to give?

I love you poem
do you know me like
you think you do poem
this is a would you be disappointed
if you did poem
an I have been feeling the chilling of the air
and I cant tell if it is just the fault of the season
or if you, too, are cooling
whatever heat you had for me
browning and falling and
crumbling between my fingers
like the leaves of these oak trees
in november poem
a what would I need to do to keep us warm poem
and this is also
an I may be completely mistaken poem
an it was seventy degrees today poem

Sometimes
“I'm just tired”
Means
I'm sad

Sometimes
“I'm just tired”
Means
I feel like nothing

Sometimes
“I'm just tired”
Means
I don't know

Sometimes
“I'm just tired”
Means
You wouldn’t understand

Sometimes
“I'm just tired”
Means
I want to cry but I won't

Sometimes
“I'm just tired”
Means
I just wish…

Sometimes
“I'm just tired”
Means
I want to scream

And Sometimes
“I’m just tired”
Means I’m lost
and I don't know what to do

For the life of me, I just can’t figure it out
I’m always headed down the right road
but outta nowhere, I’m forced to stop
with the emotions & feelings within
that were invested in someone before I hit a dead end
Here I am thinking we’re side by side
but when I look around, she’s not there
I’m just standing there all by myself
trying to figure out what I did wrong
so I can resolve it & get back to where I belong
You were waiting for me to make a mistake
but it never happened, my ways never changed
& you saw how my heart was designed
I gave you all of me but there was never an exchange
Our road ends here with no happiness being captured
No love being the focus & no mutual happiness to be shared
Becoming distant & falling outta interest even faster
Watching everything fall apart in front of me but I don’t try to fix it
Saying goodbye to what used to be knowing deep down, I’ll probably miss it

You ripped it
my pretty little heart -
but that's okay because
now I can pin it
to a wall
and scream
This Is Art.
The Infinite Seas
A mind so brilliant
Genius that's consilient
Everyone thought he'd die but he was resilient
But he crafted a legacy that's so transilient
It's almost impossible to match
These hateful comments that he achieved nothing and will go to hell
Don't worry, stay in your thatch
Nobody will remember you there
Nobody will hear your blares
You crafted your own mare
In the name of struggle
Take a deeper look into the mirror after your mouthwash guggle
And tell me what you have accomplished
People won't have time for you're always angry or complaining

In his words he couldn't omit
But he found a way to transmit
Across all ears and minds
Perishing on Einstein's birthday
Such a Genius is hard to find
We'll never be able to replace him
Our race didn't deserve a Man like him
The day felt much more grim
Without his brilliance flying out of the whim

What other kind              of creature could divide
Each different thing             into its different sides
With chaos versus             order, dark and light
The stark duality of         wrong and right
We even split the very        world in two
With human versus human,       we and you
But still no matter how much      we divide
Each thing has infinitely many      sides
