tragedies
There was a tale of a young boy
Who flew the skies, lost and alone,
Seeking a place, a place called home.

Until the ends of the earth, he sought
The only dream he ever dreamed of.

He flew and flew, and so did time.
And as the years withered by,
A place...
A place called home.
Not once did he ever find.

But then, he fell and met the earth.
And for the first time since his birth,
He smiled with pure glee.

For now, under the ground,
He was truly free.
— And happy was the angel, who fell from Grace.

ako ay nakatulala
sa lugar kung saan walang madla;
at ang isipan ko'y binabaha
ng mga hindi ko nasabing salita.

ako ay nasa dagat pa rin,
at ang bawat ihip ng hangin
ay simbolo ng aking dalangin
na sana siya ay mapasa akin.

ang mga puno ng niyog
ay gaya ng pagmamahal kong matayog.
mataas at hindi makasarili,
spaagka't sakanya ay nawiwili.

ang bawat butil ng buhangin
ay parang pag-ibig kong hindi kapusin;
bilyon-bilyong damdamin,
pag-ibig para sakanya na hindi ko inamin.

ang bawat alon na humahampas,
ay parang mga sandaling aking ipinalagpas;
mga bagay na matagal ko na dapat sinabi,
ngayon ako'y ginagambala ng pagsisisi.
pag-ibig para sa'yo na hindi ko kinayang aminin.

you can't always tell me
how much you love me
i can't tell if you have a hard time saying it
because of me
or because of you
i have no trouble telling you i love you
i write poems and paint pictures
expressing myself has never been hard
i think that's why it is easier for you
to not be able to hold my hand
as we walk down the street
to not be able to kiss me in public
to not be able to show me you love me
but when it's just us
and we get to be alone
i can feel your heart beat like a car alarm
and i watch your nose scrunch
as your cheeks melt into a smile
everything else falls to the side
nothing else has mattered
and all that i need
is you

as the moment pass by,
like how you passed me by
i saw your eyes
                          gaze through the sky,

as i look at you
                          i cant help but feel
the feelings i have for you
oh how i wanted to say them to you

as the day turns into night
the sun goes down, the moon goes up
still cant get over how beautiful you were
when you were looking at the sky
now every time i look up
it reminds me of your beautiful blue eyes
just like the sky.

maybe in a parallel universe
                                                  i’d be finally hers
maybe in a parallel universe
i wont be the one chasing her
maybe in a parallel universe
i'd get to say the things i feel for her
maybe in a parallel universe
she’d say my favorite three words
maybe in a parallel universe
                                                 i'd get to marry her
maybe in a parallel universe
i'd get to grow old with her
well maybe,just maybe
in a parallel universe
                                    we’d be happily together.

When the clock stands still,
I open the pit, my hypocritical lips that has been sealed.
A simple kiss, an act of love turned to a serpents needs,
trespassing your beliefs.

Eager for death, At the end of time.
Our breath will smell the same to the divine.
I will be you, You will be I,
Symbolizing there will be no future to our child.
In the center of space we leave our tribulations aside...
I saw it in her eyes
She was going to leave
*But she didn’t know it yet

you open up the newspaper
that declares another man
has taken what wasn’t his.

‘disappointing,’ you mutter,
turning the page.
‘look at the world, today.’

‘today?’ i ask,
a voice so small.
small as we have always felt.

open up a history book,
read it.
no, not those white men
gentrifying the world.

those women.
the ones of every colour,
orientation, size and class.

now, sir, do you understand?
those men are every man.
those women are every woman.

today is every day.

Thigh gaps,
Wide or narrow space,
Funny how,
The gap between your legs,
justifies whether you're
perfectly shaped or unfit

just by the distance
of your thighs.

I truly wonder how
the objectification
of women started
with a simple spread of
her beautifully shaped legs

from calling her a ****,
to calling her fat.
you seem to have
many names from
just staring at the
legs her mother gave.

if I really have to say,
who are you to
judge that anyway?
I wonder who gave people the rights to judge one another based on how they look, or how they act.
.
you came into
my life
as an
exclamation point
wandered it
as a
question mark
i thought you’d
leave with
three dots
behind
but you left
with only
one
