If you were my sheets, and at my beck and call
fulfilling all my fantasies, into you, I would fall.
You'd cradle me so gently, and massage me everywhere
releasing all my juices, and all my  stress, and cares.

In splendor we'd heat up the room, and I'd crinkle every sheet
and when we were apart, I'd rejoice, every time we meet.
Pillows would cradling my face and head, where jasmine scented rests
blending of our fluids as our bodies, orgasmically attest.

We'd fall asleep together, and spoon throughout the night
and in the morning waking, to unimaginable delights.
Your hands of silken sheets caressing, exciting every nerve
giving me all the pleasures, and climaxes, in you, I am immersed!
TF actually wrote this and I changed a few words to fit an artist statement to go with the painting that is posted as my cover. He graciously allowed my to post as a collaboration. Thank you TF.

Traveler
Stick Man

Sticks and bones
Can write a poem
But words are
Seldom worthy
To explain
A deeper want
Like real beef
Instead of turkey...
To convey
Questionable thoughts
Where moralities
Ever pending
To write it down
And pass it on
Creative ears
Keep bending...

Skull

Bones and sticks
hand to pen
merely words, unspoken
driving down, to the end
not everything, is broken
tortured thoughts
as happiness sought
never simple, or easy
driving down the misery
of doors and feelings
open
....

Temporal Fugue

Born
I wondered
What if the blame fell on me
stretched on my hammock
Feeling the despair of the fading dawn
and the striking of the sun rays on thy sagging skin
a sky encaged by darkness

Wheeling the blame as I mourn
the loss of my heart was a blow
reminiscing on the nights you moaned
the feeling of love and ecstasy reborn
peeking at the tales to most unknown

A potent heart
Confined to her social being
Glittering it's tales
Which laid her oddity
Blue iced eyes
Irresistible

As Days screamed into years
a once exuberant face dimmed into darkness
Nostalgia of those withering days
ailing into a feeble poet
Collaborated with the voyager
As once you saw the man
an illusion of what does stand today.

You cannot fight the tide it will take you away no matter your efforts,
as easily as it did I.

The tide is not there for you to fight
It is in it's nature to devour you whole
What you are missing is your anchor
That very small part of your soul
That piece of you inside the storm
That whispers in the night
I know you are drifting away from me
but I'm strong enough to fight
I'll fight the tide to keep you here
Just bobbing along the shore
I'll fight against the tides of might
So you don't fight no more

I once saw a horse run free
along a lonely stretch of beach
It's hooves continually flicked free
the waters that corralled it's feet

Many sunsets and storms cast dunes
broke are the barriers now
none stand ever so true .

We are all alone from where we view the horses running along the shore.

All this beauty that runs, we are no longer part of this picturesque scene anymore.

I can't bear these thoughts
the pain is too soon
the soul dreams seem an illusion.

We ran till that point from which we began
We became a blur and everything in between.

Much like us, everything
just fell in between the cracks of life and regret, I have tasted it's wine bitter sorrows to be broken in every sense.

All those horses see the truths we so easily mask to ourselves.

Trampled like innocent hearts under hooves.
The foot prints are simply a reminder, running off into that endless sunset .

I know this speaks of goodbye.

And I wish only to be blind to it all
As in love I was once as free as the horses
who in my minds eternal thought
run as freely now as your heart is
Erasing me as the ocean does the imprint left behind.
I have to thank Helen
For the work put into this im not in the best place at the moment

Thanks sis

A Thousand-Mile Poem with JAC

I've only ever
lived here
Unless you count
the dozens of
people I've ever called home.

*But then again,
Home
Never
Leaves you.

Happiness
haunted
with
Jagged teeth
And
Crooked Lips
Smiles
quickly taken down
Once I remember what they look like
Me and Rosey did a collaboration were I wrote a poem from my perspective and she wrote the same one from hers...here's the link to her interconnected poem https://hellopoetry.com/poem/2003580/crystal-smile/ Rosey is such an amazing poet and this was a wonderful collaboration :)

Her shadow
Washed in sin, covered in blood
Oh, what a sad little dove
Festering secrets, slathered in shame
Purity poisoned, life to blame
Born unwanted, a mother denies
Behind the shadow of our eyes

His shadow
In dynamics
Of dysfunctional dismay
Lost in secret family shame
These emotional contacts delay
That we carry 'til the end of our days
Cast in stone, in foundation of lies
All these shadows behind our eyes

Her pain
Painful memories of long ago
Though, I know, I must let go
Triggers upon the aching scars
That burns within an injured heart
Full of fear, in the wake of lies
All behind the shadow of our eyes

His pain
An unending twitch
The fast fading smile
The ever bleeding heart
Of a broken lost child
Carrying stones up endless hills
All these issue we're forced to feel
And stuff them down, way down inside
Behind the shadow of our eyes

Her darkness
Hidden is a blacken variant
Attached with unbreakable sealant
Of life's destiny, from the gods
Concealed amid, evolved facades
A mind, compartmentalized
Behind the shadow of our eyes

His darkness**
Desensitized to life, empathy left poor
Bottomless abyss where my spirit now soars
Love is a dream in my abandoned role
The pieces won't fit my wandering soul....

The window to a soul hides
Behind the Shadow of our Eyes
Sharing shadows with Traveler

AB:Wasn't sure how you would take it when I said i
Didn't need ya,
OK: I cried myself to sleep, my pillow wet with tears deep,
You left me broken, now I'm choking,
AB: young , wild , and free like the day of dawn or from
What I can gather , that's how you felt,
OK: So glad you're free , I was you bird just let me be , just
The end of what it was because....
AB: I'm a mess in disguise with a burden so big that you
need a microscope to see the how empty I am inside like the
Rot of an apple in your hands as it does when you make poor
Decisions in beautiful virtues, it always comes back to haunt
Something OK: Called love has destroyed my soul,
I'm fighting to beat it,
makes no sense at all,
your core is so rotten the worms doth feast and they've got pangs of hunger, refuse to retreat,
AB: We'll Make it through this, I know we can as life
Could have many feats.

Astraea
These moments, so fleeting
Deep breaths that I can finally take
The peace, so rare
A time that I can quit thinking of what's at stake

This peace, seemingly imaginary
An illusion created in solitary
Yet the fire ignited, so fierce
A proof of a wonderful reality

I inch trembling fingers into the blaze
Flames licking my fingers, carressing each knuckle
Skin popping and blistering but yet
I defiantly hold the fire's gaze

This flame, had me create a belief
That many things are not what they seem
It may seem silent
But a furious war is blazing

Breaths caught in my throat
Air trying to crawl out from my lungs
A step back, another
In search of the peace, that melodious song

And night falls...
So we fall asleep, tenderly...
When the sun rises again...
...Those moments and flames await

What's your perspective?

David Adamson
The story began one night in the dark
when most curious minds were asleep.
Sitting silently, only fingers tapping the keys,

“You tempted me like an empty page,” he wrote,
longing for a response of immediacy
that would fill his mind with more words,
the only thing he took comfort in.

She stepped aside from the voices
at her gathering to read his message.
“Emptiness,” she wrote back, “lives in the mind,
the habit of looking for what’s lost.

There is no zero in nature.
Let me tempt you with fullness instead.
Come and see what I see, and share what is there.”

As she sent the message, she swallowed deeply
knowing that what she offered was not quite a lie
but more of an unfulfilled desire.

“I can give you what I never had,” she thought.
Her mind wandered, filling
with all the ways that only emptiness can.

He wasn’t sure what she was offering him.
Whatever it was, he longed for it.
Her words flooded him with a feeling he couldn’t name.
Love? Desire?  Intoxication? Yes.

As the sun rose, he took no notice of fatigue, thirst, hunger.
He forgot the empty days,
the time spent looking in the mirror,
counting the lost years.
He began again to write.
A collaboration with my friend Candace Smith.
