Time grows wildly here
It creeps over me
and crawls on the floor
It clings to the furniture
as vines intertwine
It climbs around the wall
like moss covers the stone
My room is now a secret garden
that is hidden from the world
You see—
Nothing happens here
only time runs wild
A life like a plant
To contain the spread of coronavirus, 1.3 billion people stay at home and wait for it to pass. I have been confined to my apartment for more than two weeks, and living a life like a plant..Things are getting much better now, there are many people who have just returned to their work. Hopefully I will only have to stay at home for another one or two weeks.
No need for us to be
let go the tourniquet
let us bleed
a dark prayer
no candles flickering
deeper now
slow your dripping
coagulate your heart
release your bowls
and let us part

Now that wasn't so bad...
Your still breathing?!
are you mad!

Did you escape the pain?
defeat the sorrow?
We can always try again tomorrow.

Traveler Tim
I never know how my future will be,
I get attached strongly & very quickly.

I end up feeling used up and sickly,
I hope that someday happy I shall be.
My HP Poem #1830
©Atul Kaushal
Your happy then your sad,
Your joyful then your mad.
You laugh then you cry,
You smile then you lie.

You marry before you cheat,
You drink before you beat.
You give before you steal,
You were never truly real.
The human mind
remains bleeding edge,
but no one pays for
attic salt,
the best shall walk away
from the spaghettification
of the school system.

And roman candles
will go unlit.

Where's your résumé, Johnny?
He will hunt-and-peck
to create, lest ever
comprehend, his future
as a basement
mixologist,
'cause no one cares
to drink in education.

And his roman candle
will go unlit.

Classrooms are a thirstland,
an empty canteen,
pre-loved Maggie
—she'll graduate
quite parched,
assuredly vagarious,
modeling merkins
for period piece ****.

And her roman candle
will sadly go unlit.
