Quand plusieurs vents plongent.

Tout roule avec des mystères révoltants
De campagnes d'anciens temps ;

madame, passion fruit, and blood oranges

très grownup, breakfast at Tiffany's,
she is all sunglasses and Audreyfied,
me and George P., struggling writers,
checking if i got enough cash
or have to exit smooth, just in case,
maybe we leave our
coats behind, as ransom?

lincoln center plaza cross-dressers,
past the opera,
the sun, a balmy thirty five degrees,
laughing at us teasingly,
cause tonight and tomorrow,
******* all the day,
winter kisses
in case we forgot,
early March
first belongs to the Ides of Winter

Afternoon of a Faun,
another ballet, origin,
a Mallarmé poem.
(you begin to comprehend)
yes quite so,
a perfect synopsis of the day,
Acheron imported from Scarlett Liam
who lives in the U.K.,
but comes to choreograph here,
for gloria Americana

sundown, soul cold back,
"lest we forget,"
but the dancers bid us adieu
with a rousing waltz, frenchified,
La Valse, une poème chorégraphique,
by Ravel, bien sûr!
aroused and heart gladdened,
return home for

for veal chop love

two hours of *** banging,
kitchen banishment, (Yay!)
chanterelles steeped in red wine,
coverlet for a non-vegan tasting,
English peas, red and purple potatoes,
and for desert,
a diet dream of verbal exchanged of detailed
I love you's

He: I love you,
She (happy), replies: I love you more.
(this repartee ballet, has been rehearsal danced before)
He: Why?
She: Because you are kind and generous, to street beggars, my single friends, good and smart, love art,
and never let me down, and love my cooking, leave space for others when you park, go thru life making waiters and ticket takers smile and laugh, sleep for hours your head on my hip, write me crazy love poems about veal chops
He: What's for desert tonight?
She: A ****
Just an afternoon in the city...whatever

one thousand poem children

one thousand poems has mine soul commissioned,
a thousand more neath stone vault doors do attend,
patiently waiting revisions, rescission, catch and release permission,
waiting room patients, looking to buy a more favorable diagnosistician

this prolificacy,
nether curse or blessing,
this profligacy,
poem children fathered by single mom mothered,
borne nightly in dreams borne
from the northern, the southern,
the brains twilighted hemispheres,
who coordinate, drawing deep,
consulting a bartender's manual
a creation guide of mixology,
'how to intoxicate the brain'

cheap gin, multi-generational scotch,
visionary vermouth, the reddened cassis of life,
memories in the white grapes of possibilities,
futures unrealized, colorful takes and retakes,
a directors bespoke make-believe tales,
impossibilities, divine and mundane,
all into one admixture into the venous cavities poured,
nerves to blood to consciousness,
courtesy of the ganglia

the brain stem transmits them
fully formed to my
good morning sunshine
cracked and dried lips for re-emission

nigh head upon the pillow,
the hair trigger,
my rapid eye heartbeats, each a demanding sweetheart,
some performed to a discordant metronome,
in a controlled rage, my mental waste,
eliminated

the residuals,
purified with language as the
orchestrator, debate moderator

dreams, once recoded, once accorded,
the disordering tempestuous,
neurons cease-to-fire,
now just words, just words, just womb excretions

did I admit to a thousand?

more like tens of ten,
one, two per eventide,
have washed  ashore, for some thirty years recorded

my brain pixilated,
its big shot game controller,
demanding purchase of more;
more storage space, more games,
not admitting in advance,
that it filters blends, conflates and purges

by combining
psalms and ditties, infantile rhymes and
new vocabularies of  human aging idiocies,
though newly acquired, immediately forgot,
so always room enough for
one more episode

I study the brain, I study sleep,
study living and dying occurring at
their point of intermediation,
dreams

*this more knowledge gives no relief,
it becomes this poem becoming,
testifying that I prosecute myself
based on the evidence,
and if insufficient,
dream up nascent visionaries
from places that come unlocked,
tales from the vault vivisected,
the proper verdict
assured

sixty six years
of accumulation,
and still know so little of
proper space utilization,
writing poems proper

but nightly come the dreams,
nightly comes the trial,
comes the judgements,
comes a man-made customized
whitewall tired judgement,
and to you
submitted for
judicial review

strange that each one of you
becomes, adopts, adapts my visage,
my words in you, reflected,
a jury of my peerage peers,
which is why my appeals are
always returned in the file labelled
"denial"

until the next nights dream

It was a glass of liquid sunshine
If I were to believe the waiter
My senses would be flooded
With essence of vanilla and
Glimpses of the land.
There would notes of citrus,
Faint odor of old leather
And deep berries would overwhelm.
If I shut my eyes
I could relish the peppery finish
And the buttery after taste.
I would be a fool to overlook
The healthy dose of tannin
Balancing the sweet cherry, plum and cassis.
The wine swirled in my glass
The fragrant bouquet filled my nose
I’d be lying if I said
The anticipation didn’t create
A certain aura of arousal.
Not just the sunshine in this glass
But all four seasons inhabited
My crystal goblet,
And the sheltering moonlight
Was in there too.
This wine surely has character
Like Gandhi or Churchill perhaps.
And legs. What legs.
Slender and vibrating
Long and glistening
I could stare at those legs
Until dessert.
Having passed the cork test,
All eyes were upon me
Lifting the bowl of undulating liquid
To my lips.
I sipped.

Jolly bubbly sweet Cassie
Come here my love, my lassie
My Cassie, so frail and fragile
She poses so she looks awhile
Her stern stares move mountains
Her sensual lips grow valleys
Dearest Cassie, little lassie
When was the last time I drank you in lastly?

I see your lips are drenched again in purple
What do I have to say for you to be careful
You venture out into the mountain and valleys
And throw caution into thin air
like you just don't care
Like you just don't want to care
You drown inside till  you start to coil
I take solace in this  inner turmoil
But it arouses me when I see that confusion
Plastered on your figure frame of delusion
Dearest Cassie, dearest lassie
I yearn to feel your stern look
And see your sensual lips once again

Whacked or weepiness?
Sing if you know this,
Well~ yuh, yuh.

Hey, I recall when every months with zero-balance-curse,

Therefore I lived my life with what I fit, but today I’m so ******,

When everyone gets what their want; In fact, I never wish,

I choose drink mix while you choose Crème de cassis to rid live’s blemish,

"Son, the richest man never get outta debt hub,
Duh, compare to you with just one luckless credit card?"

So let’s be rich with heart and do something bigger than Tesla,

Do read on my blog, then write it down or by heart at least,

Zero-to-the-hero, hero-to-the-pro punk,

a person who used to be dumb, dumped in the **** junk,

now 6 figures in the bank, I'm still like yesterday’s punk,

If you got this in the bank, promise to be like an old punk,

my life’s better than my virile,

my future promise me how I rolled,

Hey Mount. E, wait for me to reach your highest spot,

but I’m just play cool to it, cuz you know

Beast’s humble,
Sweet lown,
Be hierodule,
throw your crown.

Who talk money over passion won't be richman,

The dream you ever sketched, belongs to trash can,

The dream you never twig, just a goodnight,

Just do for what you love for your loved wife,

Just what you said you do it to get a better job,

Say something to me you'll be iron man like louis cyr or,

Say something like you are immune from all snide remarks,

Everyday you and I should celebrate the 'go for broke day',

I'll 'Die trying till get there',

Pave the way for success stair,

everything's gonna be okay,

God not just hear from your prayer,

He bestow for what you care,

So stay calm and feel the air,

Dont called it work - called it play,

And say "Never say ne'er",

Hardwork means modest, stay low profile, and rich heart way,

Mamma said dream big, protect it from apart, stay,

Be like the strongest humblest person in the world, OK?

I'm the strongest orphan after all, boom! beast's humble, --

Tu t'asseyais, pâle, un peu lasse ;
Et ta grenadine à la glace
Souriait, rose, à mon cassis.

Beau café ; terrasse ; pratique
Chère aux chanteurs du vieux Faubourg ;
À proximité fantastique
De l'Odéon ; vue artistique
Sur les arbres du Luxembourg.

Je disais ? ah !... ceci, Madame,
Que s'il est un pauvre mouchard
Sur la galère noire où rame
L'esclave du Paris infâme,
Sans l'excuse d'être pochard,

C'est moi, je n'en connais pas d'autre,
Chefs ni roussins. C'est entendu.
Ah ! si ! j'en connais un... l'apôtre...
Ô catholiques, c'est le nôtre ;
Oui, le seul... qui se soit pendu.

Nul n'a ramassé son nom sale ;
L'amour n'a plus redit ce nom.
La chose était trop... colossale !
Qu'un père appelle... Élagabale
Son fils... à la rigueur... mais... non.

Ah !

Dans le jardin du Luxembourg ;

Moins : comme le zéphir, qui rôde,
Vent, on peut dire, un peu balourd,
Mais bon zouave, allant en maraude,
Peut froisser la Fleur la plus chaude
Des plus blanches du Luxembourg ;

Moins : comme une anthère blessée
Par la brise folle qui court,
Sa chemisette retroussée,
Peut entêter une Pensée
La plus belle du Luxembourg.

Moins : comme la vergue cassée
D'un marin, retour de Cabourg,
Fier de sa flotte cuirassée,
Fait se tourner une Pensée
Vers le bassin du Luxembourg ;

Moins : comme une vesce élancée
Par une bague de velours,
Lui fichant sa douce fessée,
Distrait la plus sage Pensée
De l'un et l'autre Luxembourgs ;

Rien que ça ! ce serait la pire
Des injustices envers Toi.
Il est minuit, je me retire.
D'ailleurs, j'ai quelque chose à dire
Au Préfet de Police, moi.

Toi, toutes les femmes sont bonnes,
Tu m'entends ; seules, ou par deux ;
N'appartenant qu'à leurs personnes ;
Quant à tes mouchards... ces colonnes ?
Dis plutôt... ces bâtons merdeux,

Tu vas tous les foutre à la porte ;
Mais, en assurant leurs vieux jours ;

Fais remplir un bassin en fonte ;
Comme les pieds des douze, compte...
Laisse-moi... te laver les pieds...

Tes pieds aussi noirs que la suie,
Comme moi-même je les eus,
Baignant dans les eaux de sa pluie,
Et souffre que je les essuie
Avec le linge de JÉSUS.

Let me swap your window view with mine.
Better yet, let me open a new window
anywhere in the world:

Swap my clouds with the widow Lotta
that delights in the sight of six boys skipping
on the edge of an Amsterdam canal

who then furtively disappear into
the dark wide open doors of the
*** Palace Peep show across the street.

Swap my lonely rainy sky with Bess the
matronly Cotswold poet courting Badgers
to fight over tossed scraps of Savory Pie.

Swap my lulling dark with Akhenaten
gazing at the sacred African ibis as they
chant and soar over the Pyramids of Giza.

Exchange my blue with Jean Paul
watching yellow turn red to gray night
in time-lapse from his Cassis maison.

Barter my coffee for Rakesh’s tea
and his Hindi copy of the Yajur Veda like
a still life posed on a blue  window ledge.

Ransom unbargained Chiara’s Roman tableau
in red clay tiles surrounding a blood bell tower
beautiful enough for a young Da Vinci’s pastels.

Exchange breaths with Kiko as she panics
when a Tokyo bullet train convulses through,
a reminder of both our unstable lives,

Until memories of Mary dancing in the
downpour of a Manhattan summer shower
fall through the hospitals, the last goodbyes—

until there I am, a scared little boy
starring out my bedroom window
awaiting dawn for another chance

to splash in the blue blue kiddie pool,
walk in the un-paned grass, shouting
to the white sky that follows me always.
