Wandered a whiff,
trailing a breeze;
an inkling waft,
a tickling tease.
Faintly familiar...
Fragrant with ease.
Perfume of past,
present to please.

Because of You-
I belong among the wild flowers
When I was young my dad used to plant wild flowers for me and my sister. We would spend hours running through them. I’ve never seen anything more beautiful.
Him
I know he is going to take my soul
He left and it's raining
Freezing on my skin
Maybe it'll wash him away?

He is in the jokes I say
And the food I eat
He's all around me

He is gone
Taken my spirit along
I'm here
Waiting for a piece of him
A feeling of him.
They call it drug abuse
But who's abusing who
Are you abusing drugs
Or are they abusing you?
Black and white are just colors
If you mix them like paints
Everything is a grey cloud
Without a silver lining
was a costly equanimity
I scavenged from the wars...

a lifetime spent, inventing ways
to close revolving doors...
mental health issues always come back around
it's about finding ways to, accept, recognise and deal with them,
sometimes, it's a piece of ****...other times....not so!
But, hey!..it is what it is......

She collects lovers
like wild berries,
not even realizing
that they’re
poisonous

Some days I'm the dragon,
Others I'm the knight.
But most days I'm the peasant girl in the darkness searching for light.
