Dear mom and dad,
It's only after I was alone that I realised
The world is cruel it won't let me stand
Without you both there's nothing I'd understand.

I cried for you

I stepped on my soul for you

You held my hand and I learned to walk,
You spoke to me and I learned to talk.
You gave me a pencil and I learned to write,
