Inner Beauty

Z
she had a heart
that could light up the sky
she had a smile
that would brighten the gloom
on a winters morning
she had the laugh
that could remove all your worries
she had the will
To stand up for what is right

but she hid her beauty
beneath scarves and long sleeved shirts
covered for everyone not to see
that behind those mask and clothes
is an angel, too fragile for this world

her beauty remained hidden
until i told her what she had
that i appreciated her no matter what
even with flaws that she really never had

on that day she pondered and learned
that not everything is judged by the outside
It's a number
It's a place
It's a man

It's 11 o'clock
First night
First talk
First kiss
I love you...
First held hands. Tight.
I love you too...
Late night deep talks
Sweetest kisses
Night cuddles
His lips touching hers
It stings and lingers
I love you. It hurts.

You're only mine...
Yes... Always... Forever...
Smiling,
They danced the night away
It's 3 o'clock
Morning kisses
Morning hugs
Morning love
First breakfast
Burning flames
It's warm. Your warmth.
I love you. It hurts.

A goodbye kiss
His lips touching her forehead
Twice
Words left unspoken
Don't leave yet...
I miss you...
She watched
As he walked
Away from her

It's a man
A man inside a heart
A heart that loves trully
By a woman
Who patiently waits

Come back to me
Don't forget about me
I am waiting
A promise is a promise
I am not leaving you
I miss you...
I love you...
That it hurts...
Still...

I’ve never received a flower
Or even a rose
But I’m a guy
So it’s acceptable I suppose
No kisses
Or sweets
No treats
That signifies ones feelings for me
No token of ones love
But I have gotten
Disappointment
Watered with hate
Planted in betrayal
Fertilized with lies
And maintained by fakes
Roses are Red
But my roses are dead
And crumble beneath my feet

Wrapped in silk and satin
she has been waiting
long.
She doesn't expect him
not anymore, but habit
stays.
She nor grins,nor frowns
standing at the end of her lawn
alone.
The day count lost numbers,
lost many days and slumber
hours.
Hope faded, love went,
only she stayed
so far
.
Boiling or freezing
I really can't tell
I just feel uneasy
Is it external or within?

I listen to blues
But it's still no substitute for you.
Admitting it is as difficult as wood,
But deep down you know
I miss you

I don't need you
for pleasure
Cos i know it'll torture.
Just walk by me,
Laugh at me and with me.

When holding on gives you more cuts than hugs
and you dim it feet to run for cure
Always do what's best for you
Though I might bleed
Joy stills flows from my bleeding septum
With the assurance of you being fine.

I ain't the best
am just a little different from the rest.
Choices better exist
for sure
I know your taste
I just talked with fate and He said:
'If you can wait
We'll be great'

We don't need to date
to feel loved
True love
grows from the seed of friendship.
I don't need to posses you to appreciate you.

In all I owe you all,
I wish you the best
Who'll give you rest.
If fate entwines our path
I would love you till forever comes
I would still love you if forever never comes.
Dedicated to the northern star.
Awaiting coronation
Into Prince hood
dependent on you being my princess.
Searching for shelter in your heart
in exchange for you in mine.

wanting you not just for now,
but until every earthly grain is emptied in eternities hour glass.
'I do' will forever resound in my ears,
Millennias after its altar degenerates.

I hope when you think of me
Your heart flutters
and soul overflows with joy
that tongues can't mutter.

Beyond the bond 'eros'
I know you need a hero.

Bustled and bugged by a bustling world
we create our world
Whose name is 'Us'
filled with peace money can't afford
and gentility from an ever smiling hero.
Dedicated to the northern star
She was my adventure
My peaceful car ride.
The music loudly flowing through the speakers
She was the sun in my eyes
The jolt of the steering wheel
The abrupt stop of the car
She was the tree that wouldn't move
She was everything in my passenger seat.
She is but a painful memory of moving on.
I tried to kiss her once more
But I was surprised
By her coldness
No warmth at all
For ice is what I see
On her lips.
Change...
lagoon eyes.
beat the drum.

feathertip fingers.
beat the drum.

echoing ribcage.
beat the drum.

dance with me.
