at the end of the day
we can endure much more
than we think we can...
me
the only one who's
mean to me
is me...
the blazing sun begins it's fiery descent
painting the sky in a daze of gorgeous colors
i look up marveling at the beautiful sight
and continue my quiet walk
through the long night...
Two people miles apart,
only having one thing in common.
We were both lost,
but somehow our souls found each other...
what keeps one from taking the first move?
not one's ego,
it's the fear of getting disappointed afterwards...

what keeps one from certain people?
not the fear of being judged,
it's the fear of being criticised afterwards........

what keeps one from togetherness?
not the fear of being used,
it's the fear of being misused and thrown afterwards...

what keeps one from love?
not the fear of getting the love faded,
it's the fear of being unloved afterwards...

actually the biggest fear is not "the present",
it is the fear of "the afterwards"....
can we live in the moments? and fear afterwards?
Pondering upon the fear or reluctance in few people
That we never loose sight

That we always believe
We remember it is not about me
I pray
We never forget what will be, will be
That love is the key
He or she
It's free
I pray
That we do not forget when we were alone
And
We do not forget
the people that have no home
or the people we have known
I pray
We remember we all have the need
And
We do not forget that all
HEARTS BLEED
And it is so easy to mislead
I pray
That we see the face
not the race
And
We never forget all is deserving of a place
in this space
I pray
It is not to late to save this world
from these trying times
And
We stop crossing the line
We open our eyes and stop
being so blind
I pray
We start
with
being kind
!!
There is too much regret
In unspoken words
The quiet thoughts
Whispered only to the moon

There is too much longing
In wishful thinking
Daydreams
Can quickly become a nightmare

There are too many tears
Spilled onto pillows
Over suffering and longing
From words unsaid
As a young man (30ish)
Sat alone in a room,
His feeble voice
Rang out:
"If there's anyone here,
Please talk to me."

"Help!" He continued.
"I've gotta go
To the bathroom.
Please, help me!"
Echoed his broken,
Lame voice.

Sadly, his cry
Fell on deaf ears.

I've seen him
Throw himself down,
And banging his head
On the floor--
In a loud voice,
Cursed God continuously.

With a lamenting voice,
He prayed to die.
And yet, he lived.

In pitious ragings,
He'd severely
Threaten others.
But with family,
He remained utterly calm.
Only his family
Could console him.

My heart ached for him,
As my eyes welled with tears.
For, you see,
He was young and blind.

Unfortunately,
He was a young blind man,
Consumed by his blindness.
This story is true. And situations such as this, illustrates the truth of life's less glamorous side: the affliction. The darkness. The loneliness. The dependency and utterly helpless feeling. The fear and despair. What is not, and yet could have been for any of us.
