I have spent my days
gazing into the clouds
hoping they take form of your face—
And even with an imaginative mind
I still have not found what I am looking for.

I have spent my nights
gazing into a vast sea of stars
wishing upon those bright as Sirius
to guide me in your direction—
But still my will is lost among the galaxies.

I have spent my days
venturing the streets I was raised upon
and have expanded onto others—
Yet, have found my eyes are set—
meant for you,
and when all I see is the smile of all the other roses
Echoed are my thoughts,
a wayward symphony composes.

I have spent my nights
sitting at my desk under lampshade
waiting as if inspiration will course through my fingertips—
yet, I am only left to find myself
writing in the name of the love in which I have dreamt of,
but could never call my own.
Joseph R. Adomavicia
off the asphalt
five miles down south
she catches prawn

her skirt the catching net
feet quietly feather weight
she looks a muddy heron

beneath sky grayish pale
swimming wind with fishy smell
on her no man's patch

intent on her solo search
head bowed down cutely arch
she must have her catch

streaks of mud on her hair
only what she does care
a bunch of wriggling store

fire it up when day is dead
have the catch thinly spread
and nothing more
I beg you
don't leave the sky

when dark clouds billow in the south
the weary winged hurry home

overhead on the dead blue
jupiter and venus are born anew

the wind slows to silence
trees loom night's shadowy ghost

nocturnal birds sing on their new day
you feel your breath as they fall

the clouds spread across the sky
cracked by the lightning

a drop lands on your stretched palm
soothes all the burns in you

you melt in love
by the torrents falling from above.

don't leave for shelter
I beg you
when heaven arrives here.
Winds blistering infinite cold
Fills the hole
In
My
Heart
The fierce scolding winds
Coagulate
The
Missing
Pieces
Vibrant colors of a feather sync perfectly together flying in a pinkish red sky
The sun is slowing falling into the edge of the earth, rising darkness upon mother earth
The moon slowly peeks its slenderness into the high sky, giving companionship to the stars
Offering great views of territories unsearched
A dragons breathe breathes fire into Halley's comet traveling rings around earths edge
Showering majestic lights with-in a dark pinkish red sky
My life has been taken,
but you look away from the light.
My heart has been broken,
but you disappear into the night.

The Sun rises in the east,
Where I'll wake up next to you.
I’m dreaming in the west,
Trying to find my way to you
Believe me when I say,
You are my everything.

The calm water,
seduced my stare.
The ghostly mist,
Filled the air.
The cool wind,
Chilled my bones.

The birds sang,
A lovers song.
The trees slept,
For winters day.

I dreamt of summer,
But, I was lost in winter.
I embraced December,
wishing for September.
