I told her I had a gift
Wrapped in red and green paper
It was the world's most beautiful painting
Such beauty had caused many rifts
Thieves had come to steal
Some even began to fight
Yet this picture remained unharmed
But oh what crowds it would draw
Never alarmed it was unchanged
Somehow it found its way
Into one noble man's arms
He no better than the rest
Thanked God for he knew he was blessed
For this the greatest thing he ever held
An unbreakable bond he would weld
Than my love began tearing at the paper
And found only her reflection looking back at her
Wrote this one a while back .  Probably the one I'm most proud of .  It just came to me one day while I was in the early stages of new found love. If anyone has any questions or comments please share thank you.

my, my, unharmed skin
what, what should I do to you?
Not only only happy dreams come true
Blood, blood, blood, blood does, too
piece of, of paper
what should I - I write on you?
maybe of he who loves me,
who?
untouched-touched bare skin
what shall I clothe you wi-th?
none will look - look either way
new, new, new life born. . .
what should make of, of you?
criti - criti - criticism will still come
my, my, my, my unharmed skin
forgive me for using - using these past tense
wrote this in class today.

she is the earth
he is the moon
he revolves around her
but she revolves around the sun

the moon does every little thing
to have the earth's heed
all he wanted to give her is happiness
but she does not want to take it
cause she is too engrossed with the sun
knowing too much heat isn't good for her
yet still tolerates the burning pain

the moon asked:

“Why is it so necessary for you to endure the torridness of the sun? If happiness is not enough for you, tell me, dear Love, I would be willing to give you what you long for.”

the earth answered:

”Happiness is more than enough, Darling. In fact, you have already given that to me.”

“How?”

“Seeing you far from afar, safe and sound is what makes me happy. I would rather have myself suffer the torment than having you bear the torture you don't deserve.”

...and the moon promised the earth that he will always be secure and unharmed.
