Does it ever swamp you?
Arrive in your drams just to haunt you?
Remember it is not truly tangible
Knowing this is not comfortable
No it is not pleasing
Even if you know it can't hurt you
So what do you do when it comes for you?
Sorry to be honest but I run and hide; do you?

Des is my name
Young was I when I found a game
Some call it hard others think it lame
Learn to read was its name
Excited was I when I first began
X’s and O’s were letters to be learned
I thought that it would be easy but I was burned
Cause I have a problem in reading simple words
I found out that I had this when I first began to read. Words are added when I read and some are backwards and others are unseen.

Souls do weep
Others don’t make a peep
Remembrance does bring me close
Rekindling a desire to see and take a dose
Of some drug or drink
Which after consuming they do blink
So as not to shed any tears from their
Opens eyes which would pour fourth upon the
Reflections of their life's sad happenings
Reliving these sad things
Over again inside their trembling being
When I come and cling.
First letter of every line spells the speakers name?

Let me tell you about myself
I am from the sun and
God did make me for
Himself
Tell me my name
Lest I forget,
In heated moments, to
Give thee sight in the night.
Here in the day, I am always present
Tell me now, ain’t I pleasant?
Look at the First letter of every line and tell me what it spells?

I tattered your Yellow Wallpaper,
And trenched along your Groves.
To find that little special place,
Creeping amidst your Prose.

I scouted your Lands in search,
For what I found most dear.
But frankly I never found much,
That Gem was always there.

So as I walk my fickled Wood,
I realized something good.
I really never understood,
And I never really could.

Light Eddies And Venerable Elm,
Meant Everything.
acrostics are always amazing. allusion to "The Yellow Wallpaper," by Charlotte Perkins Gilman.

Crippling fright
Restless nights
Envious thoughts
Endless haunts
Petrified of lonely

Mangled my skull for Osiris,
Offals fed to the Ancient Tree,
Red, anguished apotheosis,
Blood-sealed bargain has set me free.
I no longer live in darkness...
Darkness now dwells inside of me.

Silently trailing your every step
Hollow creatures from endless pit
Abyssal phantoms gripping your feet
Disguised as illusions in your eyes
Obscured expectants for your demise
Waiting to pull you down to the deep.

— ah, you love the trickling rain...
Beside you, an umbrella’s reign.
It shields you from the pain;
God knows you’ve feigned-
Again, a beautiful smile shown,
Ignoring your shattered bones,
Leaping and dancing in the rain.
You are your father’s joy, I am smitten and alone in my love. May my feelings reach you; may my undying love hold steadfast. Maybe someday I can dance in the rain with you.
