Nobody takes a photo
Of something they want to forget.
If you wanted
I could have given you
My eyes
So you could've seen
What I saw in
YOU

If you wanted
I could have given you my ears
So you could've heard the harp that was your voice
The way I heart it

If you wanted
I could have given you my nose
So you could've been gifted with the sharp smell of your scent
The way I smelt it

If you wanted
I could've given you my skin
So you would know how well your fingers contested with fireworks

If you wanted
I could've given you my lips
So you could know, would know how well you tasted, and you would know you were more thank just a human being
You were a gardener
Who planted every beautiful flower inside me
You're like toffee,
The sweetness so irresistible
but you're going to hurt yourself at some point
Are you allergic to yourself?

Do you scratch away at yourself,in the hopes that your skin would peel off?

Are you allergic to yourself?

Do you deliberately avoid pictures just so the camera won't add a few pounds and make you look?

Are you allergic to yourself?

Do you cough and wheeze whenever you suddenly remember a flaw that seems to get every ones head turning?

Are you allergic to yourself?

Do your eyes go red and puffy when you catch a glimpse of yourself in the mirror?

Are you allergic to yourself?

Does your tongue swell whenever a good word about you tries to spill itself out?

Are you allergic to yourself?

Does everything about you, make you swell ache and bend over in pain?

Do you wish you could jump out of your own skin?

April
In the beginning
on the dew covered grass
with the stars laughing in the sky
her arms found mine
everything was unintentional, as if it was the greatest surprise
us, her, I

In the middle
on the silky sand dunes
with the sun dancing in the sky
the space between her and I, expanded
everything was fast, as if on a planned schedule
us, her, I

At the end
on the flannel sheets
with the fan spinning on the ceiling
the air we breathed, touched, was separated by a glass window
everything was moping, as if heavily medicated

and this time
it was just her
no more us
no more "I"
I'm not sure how people will interpret this... I'm kinda curious as to how people see it.
I bottle up my feelings in old Ribena bottles

You bottle up yours in Gin and Whiskey bottles
Hug
Have you ever felt
A compelling urge
To hug somebody?
To just wrap your arms around them
And never let go?
You just want to drop everything
And hug that person,
Touch them,
Embrace them.
You just want to be near them.
Forever.
No talking.
Just hugging.
Because you seem to say more,
Have deeper discussions,
When you’re in each other’s arms
Then when conversing aloud.

That’s the kind of bond
I want to have with someone
Some day.
Because the simplest of things
Speak louder
Than any words
Ever will.
A poet in love
Is a match soaked
In gasoline.

follow my writing!

it will kick you in the diaphragm.
Blood doesn't mean
Anything anymore.
I wish black and blue ink
Would drip from
Every open wound
And pool together
to create
A tangle
Of
Pain,
Pleasure,
Purpose,
And make words
That mean nothing
To anyone but myself.
