Grab a feather
                                            Open your soul.

Grab some paper
                                         Make it your own.

And a small feather
                                             Shall be a brush,

And a small paper
                                        Your poems' canvas.

I want to go there with you

You know, that place you whispered to me

Whilst I was deep asleep in your arms

Where the air is cool and the river awaits for our feet

With wild horses and overgrown fields of dandelions and bluebonnets

Take me there

And keep me there, like a gem you wear night and day

Passed down from unknown times

But precious to you

A keepsake worth more than all the coins that have ever passed through your fingertips

With a love so sweet you refuse to take the last bite, for then it will be no more

Take me there and I will always stay

I dip
my quilled pen
of a creative mind
into the well of heart.

It's golden ink
spreads
with visions to launch
a writers dream.

It's ink bleeds
spiraling
in waves of verse
that blossoms.

Its ink merges
with my soul blood
to becomes my
writers passion.

I dip
my thoughts
into pool of vibrations
where love lives
and words take a life
of their own.

I dip
into liquid gratitude
and torch-like plume to scribe
with heavenly ink of a writers heart.
Inspired By Kim Johanna Baker Thank you for all you are and all you do.

Mirror, Mirror on the wall
Won't you talk you know it all.
You see me look everyday.
I will hear what you do say.

Mirror, mirror speak and share.
I will listen with no fear.
Am I beauty in this form?
I do ask I do so strong.

Mirror, Mirror tell no lie.
I will know and I shan't cry.
For you are so grand I see.
Now I'll stop to hear from thee.

Mirror spoke and said real clear.
Beauty is real as you stare.
Cause you are Divine it is true
Live with love its what to do.
Just playing with word mirror
i.

unwrap me tenderly,
pour your love
like water from a jug,
please me and
harness me,
bring me to life,
beneath your touch.

ii.

tonight the puddles
whisper to a wandering moon,
reflections like onyx in
dreamy pools, the
water’s soft breeze,
a stream of stars,
your love also, the song of a star.

iii.

the last heartbeat
of summer in the
honey light,

after the rain
everything feels
refreshed,
ink pressed to
the water.

iv.

nightingale-free
the breeze
whispers to the
trees,
dark-eyed, its
leaves a rose
on my pillow,
beats an ashy drum.

v.

you pull me to you,
i’m brought to life
by the sound of your voice,
caressing me with
your lips, my back
arched back, my ribs
a dream of you,
monet-reflected
in the night and in your
eyes.

A young man was struggling to keep his home and support his family, yet life was still filled with optimisms and desires, typical for someone who was trying to please his wife and raise a child during an economic downfall. His life, however, was about to take a different turn, a twist from the accustomed to the unfamiliar, even hopping through space and time. In pure innocence, he was living in a parallel universe and what he thought was the center of it all was just a small part of the fabric of the whole creation.
