You might think you know this story,
But yours is much more flowery,
Dabs and dots of illusion,
With decades of confusion,

A forgetful father, a muddle-head  daughter,
Tinkered to provoke laughter,
Perhaps for romance , a clever twist,
Or maybe, even a fearful fist!!

Up from times blurry trails,
Came the fanciful fairytales,
Full of gaudy glamour,
And foreseeable amour,

But who am I, a struggling writer?
To help you remember,
Oh no! My dears, I am a time spinner,
For it is in my broth, you
shimmer!

Her black hair's flying in the breeze,
As she accelerates her killer Ferrari,
This memory's just right to freeze,
Stops the car at Armani,

Awaits the manager, with fat a parcel,
Those she meets, she'll bespell,
Pocket your prized possession,
A hobby, now an obsession.

High heeled & lethal is she,
She parks right by the bat mobile,
The Dark Knight in darkness awaits,
Her lovely pearls, their past will retrace.

Many she's fooled but not him,
Her innocently malicious eyes, never dim,
Over Gotham city, they secretly rule,
Other evil minds, they ridicule!!

Phantoms, gone in the blink of an eye,
Their memory, we'll forever keep,
Ask not where, what, how or why,
For their crazy insanity is far, far too deep!!!

Where Shelter
an average human creature should such a mythical exist
in a lifetime will celebrate about 2,200,000,000 heartbeats,
billions of heartbeats per minute (I prefer moment)
but like everything so essence human there are
those very few heartbeat moments,
the ten or twenty maybe forty total in a lifetime
that you total truly remember,
recalling the cream and sauce,
swell and the hell,
of the pounding so slow so hard,
each one a volcano of
a moment until that day
you don't remember-anything

when she said yes and you're shaking and beating in a
*****-tonk rhythm cause you were heart undressed unsure
and truly afraid of a rejection that makes a heart stoppage
disallowing visions, to be exponentially happy future imagined

you're feeling your heartbeat
in your knees going weak,
when the doctor says:

congratulations healthy swell
and/or
some years later,
I'm so so truly sorry, hell

when they hand you a long handle shovel no instructions needed and that scoop of earth weighs two tons and the sound of slow reverb in your head hurts like hell and you lack the strength to move and they move you aside quiet gentle like
but inside the temple of the two headed hydra-heart,
it's the rock and roll of slo mo, the violin crying, the drumming of
heavy metal chords plucked so slowly, it's you froze screaming

a billionaire of heartbeats you are,
but only ten or twenty maybe forty total in a lifetime
you total truly remember with the perfect clarity and
forever renders into your own unique orchestral symphony,
your true net worth, the stripes you wear
upon your shoulders skin,
the tune when you hear it and melts you into rigidity

you fall to your knees wherever you are,
that is where you will find me,
just listen for the cars horns blaring
cursing the man lying in the street, re-listening to
ten or twenty maybe forty heartbeats total in a lifetime

you alone total truly that concert set recall and
the win-loss record inherent, inhiment,
in both of them, tears and the rents, all there in the tunes,
of forty beatings you took,
somehow it feels like here is, there was,
the answers to
where is shelter for the heart,
the answers that have gone and come and gone and someone says,

I don't feel a pulse
what reading poetry is truly about: the endangered art of listening well,, a sustained exercise in empathy.
Never fall in love with a poet
for their words are sometimes lies
on occasions they're a shield
on occasions a disguise

They will take you on a journey
upon which they bare their soul
in a bid to ease your burdens
in a bid to make you whole

But in every word they choose
for the stories that they tell
lies a little piece of heaven
and a little piece of hell

Tormented souls we poets are
sometimes quite broken and despaired
in search of lost expressions
missed by others who once cared

Never fall in love with a poet
unless you're prepared to share their pain
to hold them close on the darkest nights
over and again

I stepped inside self
grabbing the hand of my inner child Alice
through visions of my third eye.
The child we all have which never grows up and needs love.
I hugged her and an energy bond carried us to a distant place.
A place we play in where cotton candy clouds moved before us in an animal marching parade.
Trees were filled with rainbow treats
and music played in the wind.
I reassured Alice that I wouldn't desert her and loved her unconditionally.
When I returned to my every day reality I felt peacefully serene,
as a blanket of love covered us both.
We all have an in a child  and it's important that we acknowledge it. When we do it filters back to her own  consciousness for harmony. When we don't it could affect our life.

In the light of eternity,
I reside dancing inside
a star-studded sky.

My energy expands,
as I bond with the wind
gracefully.
As I  connect to dreams
in a shapeless form.

Spinning energies rise
in orcastrstions in
a place with no time.

Moon birds echo
celebrating spark of God
part of all existence.

And as the sunrises,
I am drawn to anchor
in a place called earth.

A place where I can dance
with gratitude
for both sun and moon.

To write a poem
is to scribble from heart.
Some sad tearing mind apart.
Others happy to drift like lark.

To write is to enter,
a place with no time.
To give it musical rhyme
and echo divine.

To tweak it when
whispers vibrate
with phases to celebrate.

To edit a stanza so fine,
having words dance in line,

To touch eyes that open wide
the heart inside.

To born a poem and sign
for mountain words to climb.

A gift from soul to all
I answer the call

A-**!
A marching I shall go.
Again inspired by a gifted writer Marshall Messi thank you.

Secrets can be silent.
But most often they are whispered
Surrounded by cup-shaped palms
Transported from trembling mouth
To eager ears

Sometimes they are muttered
Throughout staggering sleep
Unbeknownst to the speaker,
Sounded out by partly incoherent coos
And deciphered by insomniacs

Sometimes they are slurred
by drunken tongues and spilled
Like a pint across the bar.
The glass shatters on the floor.
Left dangerously displayed
Until swept up and forgotten in the morning

Sometimes they are written
Soberly on a stark page
The ink courses through your veins
The pen carves the way

And you’re here.
