I dream of endless skies of blue

blotted with clouds

that lightly flew

I dream of rippling waves of seas

streaked with sunlight

stalking the breeze

but most of all

I've dreamed of you

Your curvy lips spread in a smile

your fingertips touching mine

A lock of your hair, black as sin

across your face, grazing your chin

I've dreamed of you, whispering softly

singing me a song, dancing not so properly

I run to you, to hold u close

before you vanish, utterly to my woes

Haunting my dreams, just to make me suffer

when I jolt awake, in pain i utter

cries of despair, not finding u there

Dreams of joy, dreams of wonder

everyone dreams, they love going under

one would think, i am loathe to dream

on cold nights, waking to a scream

but most of all,

I've dreamed of you...
Why do we dream?
O flower of the night, with sigil so bright
sing me a song, of times long gone
when the wind was free, to swirl in glee
when the heart felt peace, like somber trees

O river of the dark, so slow yet stark
allow me in, to your depths within
drive me afar, where the sun is a star
show me solace, in your watery embrace

O crystal of the earth, of infinite worth
harden me so, till I can't feel the woe
touch me soft, yet make brittle my soul
so it shatters soon, and I can start anew
This is my plea to her, to give me peace, so I can start afresh.
On the wings of a golden bird
Stretched across the winds of the world
Far above a silent sea
Lives my hope, of you loving me

As a twinkle of a panther's eye
In a sliver of a rainbow high
On a ripple of a lazy cloud
Breathes a chance, of you missing me

As a drop slipping down a leaf
Into earth's ever parched embrace
Scarred by loss and grief
I dream of touching your face

As a river unhindered blows
Its banks apart, its floor aggrieved
Aloud she rumbles and roars
But as always, she seeks the sea
Tell me your fears
what brings u to tears
Tell me your dreams
what draws the screams
Show me the stains
and the heart of the pain
Show me the scars
that others find a farce

I shall look not flinch
I shall listen not cringe
U can cry u can whine
I'll stand firm whilst u whinge
Tell me, I am here for you.
My heart is shy, and timid
afraid it asks too much, past limits
but what pleasure is there to be got
in what is not, by the heart, fervently sought

Some pay their chests no heed
Let that beast flail around in its cage
The mind knows what one needs
It demands attention, hogs the stage

Yes there is sense, in listening
to well thought logic and reason
But the hearts wants what it wants
Even if its desires are out of season

Some let this battle rage, like me
till the cellar of logic runs dry
then the heart grabs the reins
and off we go, yelling do or die!

Cruel is the world, on soft hearted men
indifferent to such emotional fools as I
But the beauty in this world, the things of joy
are invisible, irrelevant to the mind

What fun is to be had, if all were wise
to the folly of dreams and love
To not have loved at all, is far worse
than to have loved and lost
On a wintry night, with the sky alight

As a gentle breeze, sets aflutter the leaves

And a single chime, sings a lonely rhyme

I think of you, my lovely tease

On a sunny day, when the birds are gay

And the grasses green, full of flowers leaning

And a lonely rose, springs from the boughs

I think of you, my evil queen

At a gloomy time, when a laugh is a crime

And a cold crow caws, on a piercing note

As the music sighs, through lows and highs

I think of you, my winsome woe

On a cheerful eve, without a moment's grief

As a laugh rings loud, from nature's lips

And the trees sing calm, like a cool balm

I think of you, my charming miss

As the time rolls by, with nary a cry

And the sun sets low, on our quaint show

Will you stand tall and break this wall?

Will you think of me, will you think of me at all?
Come with me, astride a silver breeze

among drifting clouds, across glistening seas

along whispering blues, amid fleeting blooms

above stark peaks, and over tall greens

I dare thee, to set your mind free

Burn thy fears in the fire of your greed

Skip no stone, turn away no chance

Learn a brave's mortal dance

For death my friend, is a cunning foe

Lures you away, whispers of woe

Take no heed, take a deep breath and charge ahead

For one true life, is worth a thousand undead
