Lost in the labyrinth of Hekate
At a triple crossroads dance with me
As the New moon watches from up high
And her black birds cackle in the sky

As we dance a circle among the trees
Lost in the Labyrinth of Hekate
At the crossroads will you work your rite
As her black hounds circle tonight

By starlight will you call the Queen
Are you afraid to dance with those unseen
Lost in the labyrinth of Hekate
Owl Serpent and Horse are she

Will you slip into her ancient trance
As the Crone Witch joins in our dance
As is our will so mote it be
Lost in the Labyrinth of Hekate

And through my death,
I have been initiated by the dark goddesses that dance under the forbidden moonlight,
into my birthright,
to truly be alive.

dogs snarl and
yowl as she approaches:
her silken dress trailing
the ground,
her ashen face, unsmiling.

lady of the night: she leads
her army of ghouls with cold,
heavy chains that make a
sickening sound as they
stroke against the black concrete.

she is unseen, but watching,
cold malice in her
shadowed eyes.
she can see the sweat beading
upon your pallid face
as you struggle to wake, gasping.

heed her unnatural beauty,
for it is too dark to see
her true face. she
parts the road thrice
and awaits your decision.
a smile curls her lips:

she is warning you.

what do you hide in
those claws, other than ice
water? it falls like a gong
until it crashes into me, and then
the warmth hugs it, and then
the molecules move so fast they need
milk of the poppy to release any
energy at all. when you told

me your rapids join an underground
river, and that i am the nile
hugging delta silt, i felt like a
sunrise, like a capillary, like a
sphere of light dissolving the boundaries
of our bodies. i want to follow

you like the nymphs of Hekate,
i want to breathe your torch because all
my faith is inside it. i want to gently
pull your son out of my horned womb,
under an old pinus halapensis
on the foothills of mouth olympus.

i want to fiercely hold you
like waves of the aegean
under a full aries moon, sky
clad with our soles half in water, half
in ancient rock fragments, the ivy

a filigree binding our wrists,
our soul merging into infinity and
then surging forever, like the
endless forest fires on the arid
and rocky venusian shores.

Mistress of Crossroads
Death sings loud on moonless nights
Palms towards the stars

New day, new haiku! This one is for Hekate, Goddess of Magic and Crossroads.
I just adore the stories around here, theres an enigmatic charisma that surrounds her. Just some magical pull she has...
Honestly, I cant express how much I love her enough, haha!

Lunatic's Moon...
Those forever days of the past
it lay quiet in tranquil sleep,
save for visitor's noiseless blasts
of meteor's falls from the deep,
raising silent dust's slow, slow, leaps
in dance, gift of ghost's ballet shoes
Ad agio A cappella,
hypnotized my eyes, seek the moon...

I see Hekate through my glass
of spirits, as I start to dream,
a ****** god, did she think, alas?
I hear her hounds, Hades guards supreme,
I fear beast dogs awake, griping claw, tearing teeth,
my fear of dog mounts higher inside...
grossly male, trembling knees, knock
under his hot glare I drop my eyes,
I burn, tremble dreaming see gleam
hot eyes, click of claw come to choose...
nails pierce my clenched palms like claws, I...
moth I, pinned by crazed magic moons...

Constricted chest, sweat drowns my Sass,
smell of wet dog fur make me freeze,
my drink or some Satanic Mass
make these demented visions stream
across my glazing eyes, two-dog-teams
of Hekate's hell-hounds stiff stalk move
nip heels, thighs, herds me hell bound, I
cowed, bare throat to lunatic's moon...

My springtime's never ending suns
I carry sunglow from window to bed,
planning, when the next day has come,
just as soon as the pets are fed,
and I've tidied up my empty head,
walked the dog, give cat the cream,
to run and jump and skip and play
not laze around and sleep and dream...
Too late! my pet's wet chomping jaws
send my dreams to damp moist earthy days
of screaming pterodactyls & dinosaurs...

My summer sun's they always shone
so brightly that they hurt my eyes,
and I hid and wished it, Begone!
with my false exasperated sighs...
I lazed around and fantasied,
conjured darkness for my needs,
and willed self toy for troglodytes
so dreamily these beasts use my hands on me
on dark cave floor's breed in me, such dreams...
Of Hekate's hounds entering... in my mind
behind the private door's of my eyes.

Now my Autumn comes crashing down
there's earlier settings of darker suns,
troglodytes and hell's hounds keep me bound
on stiff stalking legs ***** one-eyed proud
as creeping winters begin to run...
My pale face mirrored as I count my sum,
of my omniverse to find it finally means,
of my dreams this whole world wide,
dream leads to this... Whereof? I cannot dream...
