I am not what I used to be
So now in the shadow of unspoken events
Everything whimsical is leaving
Words fill my head, they fragment like artillery shells
they tare through it forcing irreparable damage.
Time has accelerated
Born out of the absence of light
Shaped by my own hands
Justly worthy to be referenced and adored
I re-encounter what my elation briefly with held
The thirst for the dangerous
Obliterate the incomprehensible crowding thoughts
The stampede within my head
The mayhem of the many visions
Lock them down, all that fracture within my head
Inexplicable wanderings of mindful musings
Spontaneous perceptions
Shadow of foe
Encircling their fears with distractions
Pulsing in endless repetitions
I am the one whose throat is stripped bare.
I am the one who has not spoken in years
A distant moon to sense

Visualization skills
Can be incredible
I can be walking down a street in Paris
With my friend who died
Four years ago
But it can also be terrible
Like when I'm trying to fall alseep
But I'm standing in her room
Watching her burn
Or when I'm sitting in my room
And you are there
But I have to remember you left
And it isn't real
Sometimes I can walk alone the ocean
Instead of the street
But usually
I'm running from monsters
I'm not insane
I visualize on purpose
But sometimes I loose control of my daydreams
Sometimes I swear you hate me
Because I misread something
And my stupid brain twists thoughts
And gives me the worst possible scenario
And that scenario is real
Only it's not
Because you don't hate me,
Do you?
It's so hard to touch a ghost.

A word
Nobody knows.
It's a mental thing.
"A sensation produced in one modality when a stimulus is applied to another modality, as when the hearing of a certain sound induces the visualization of a certain color."
A confusion of senses.
But I don't think I am confused.
I just see farther than anyone.
For me;
I see colors
And think sounds, tastes, textures.
I see objects
And think gender, personality, music.
All the letters
Have colors, smells, jobs in an office.
All the numbers
Have heights, voices, fashion senses.
I don't know why it is
But it is a malfunction in my brain.
I don't know how to explain it
But it is not very complicated.
Everything has a color
A personality
A food
A texture
A sound
A taste
A smell
Associated with it.
Because everything is deeper than they look.
Because I am confused?
Because I can see.
A mental condition I have and care a lot about.

From consciousness
Are birthed your thoughts
Whose rays
Strikes the mind’s mirror
To create a reflection
Of your imagination
Silhouette at first
Bordering the edges of light
Finally, becomes clearer
To those with vision
Beneath the surface of our daily lives, we are always asking the question, “Who am I, really, and where is my true home?” The answer to this question is so utterly obvious, so beautiful, so ordinary, and yet so profound, that like the nose on our face, we have a hard time seeing it. Because of our own self-imposed limitations, the answer to this mystery can only be revealed little by little, as if a great veil were being lifted inch by inch, until the truth is completely exposed. Yet, we are destined to receive this knowledge.

Today-all around us: the electro-magnetic field is active and alive, whether we feel it or not. Imagine all the electromagnetic-digital devices surrounding us! Take a moment to think about their direct or indirect effect on our bodies. Global warming is by far the most serious manifestation of the “collision”—and Mother Nature is making the evidence ever more obvious. Our bodies are like little vessels of light reflecting our bright birth right. However these vessels constantly need nourishing and care. These are amazing times for us all but we must take care of our bodies inwardly and outwardly, else we are left at the mercies of the “spiraling” energies circumventing the universe. Both scientists and spiritualists have verily presented groundbreaking evidence about what is happening beyond what can be felt, seen or sensed by human sensory perception. At times-you may feel odd sensations or more anxiety than usual. Breathe in slowly and deeply. Take your time amidst the “rollercoaster of the city’s rush hours”. Remember to connect to the “higher frequencies” of a positive lifestyle in healthy ways. Exercise, Pray, Meditate, if you can- use flower essences everyday such as: Silversword, Shooting Star, Morning Glory, Sagebrush, Snap Dragon, Cosmos, White Magnolia. Growing a flower garden has its rich rewards too.
Nature’s healing effects are unquestionable, for within nature we come face to face with the Divine infinite source of All creation-as it was, as it is and as it will ever be.

Yogi Paramahansa Yogananda once quoted:

Harmony with nature will bring you a happiness known to few city dwellers. In the company of other truth seekers it will be easier for you to meditate and think of God.

There is a magic about periodically moving out of the “city’s confinements” to the richness of and around nature: forest walks, boat rides, mountain trekking and much more. The main essence is in feeling a refreshed aura around and within you-an indication that the city and all its toil on you have been left behind. We have to try to get rid of the notion of time. When we have an intense contact of unconditional love with nature or another human being, like a spark, then we can truly understand that there is no time and that everything is eternal.

Other simple ways of raising energy levels include: silence in isolation and more “interaction” within you inner spirit-your Higher-self. There are always two forces warring against each other within us and we can bring these forces to a balance during silent personal introspection.  In order to relate properly with and to your inner being, one must follow the “truth of imagination.” From the word-imagination, we find the word-image, which is the manifestation of our physical form and body identity.

As William Arthur Ward said:

If you can imagine it, you can create it. If you can dream it, you can become it.

More than ever before on our planet, there is now great need for interpersonal sharing and the acknowledgment that ups and downs are a vital part of our everyday life. This process is internal as well as external. The “key” is a flowing pattern that is beneficial to all concerned. Take good care of yourself, your relationships, and your health. Exercising both mind, body, and spirit can bring you the agility to incorporate balance, whether you are alone or with a partner. Life can seem like a seesaw existence, but you can still have a wonderful time if you maintain a playful attitude.

The “image” we carry of our self within our mind and heart carries the power to bridge our highest ideals into our everyday practical life. On the other hand, attachment to a poor image of self condemnation and suffering carries the potential to destroy our right to joy and abundance. Which do we choose? Practicing the laws of “visualization” is not unlike the practice of prayer or meditation, where the seeker opens oneself to channels of higher guidance and inspiration. Ideally, we are given the opportunity to walk through the gardens and forests of the earth with astute concentration and attunement, opening our opportunity to the light of healing and service, each and every day.

Whatever your tradition or practice, however you offer your skills to the world, trace your roots and find the center of stillness and peace within. Only from this grace-filled place can we restore the health and well being of ourselves and our planet. Become one who engages the full power of the mind, heart, and spirit in the interest of alleviating suffering and making our present world a true “Garden of Eden”

Remember to build the world around you in a practical manner. Is your spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical universe anchored in truth and wisdom? Follow the “call of the wild” and listen to your inner voice within that guides you to fulfill your higher destiny. Take time to make weighty decisions. Realize the implications of your acts for the future. Stop wasting your strength by criticizing others. Recall the ancient adage “Judge not, lest you be judged”.

Reinforce your positive, upbeat, and inherently good nature so that the dark elements of this world cannot break down your resolve and dedication. For those who have suffered emotional pain from all sorts of physical or spiritual abuse, If you are to walk the path of consciousness, enlightment and empowerment, you must go beyond your “old wounds” and accept this golden opportunity to metamorphose into a new “body of light” – one that rejoices with the understanding that all aspects of life are sacred and it is in the weaving of the dark and light within ourselves that we find our true wholeness. We heal ourselves and others by first contacting the inner nourishment or the "water fountain of life" within us which sustains our ability to create beautiful things in the world as well as to act from the depth of our hearts.

Imagine opening your arms to upward spirals of your divine existence like a beautiful chalice and ask that all love pour into the vessel of your heart. This love is abundant and rich, offering the fertile elixir of passion and creativity. These are exciting time and we must accept the challenges offered to humanity at this time; in it all: Unconditional Love, Peace and Unity is the answer. Change all bad habits-those that leave you with tingling bits of guilt. Cleanse your body and home and adore the “temple of beauty” that is your embodiment: your real reason for being!

The mystery of the universe is within and without us. Love the world...Love yourself...Love the change. Anticipate illuminating insights from places deep within you. Let the inner truth of your radiance come shining through. Most importantly, focus your attention and thoughts and blossom like the beautiful morning-glory. The yearning for our lost perfection, the urge to do and be that which is the noblest, the most beautiful of which we are capable, is the creative impulse of every high achievement. We strive for perfection here on mother Earth because we long to be restored to our true oneness with Almighty God.

Let's go somewhere, let's
   do something, let's
       be the people we are
    meant to be

today with eyes gently closed, sketching
   my wish,
          a lifetime atop liquid satin

sail me away in the dark, sweet you until
          stars wrap your face in
a hug, pull away out of
                    jealousy

one of these hours I might pop with the
      taste of sincerity,
                        of laughter you
    bring to me quietly

                                  were it not
             for the disulfide knowledge
                        the unmistakable now
      where everything is right
                and you are everything.

the wandering fox
spotted the grapes
hanging above its reach
This will quench my thirst,
it told itself
and tried various stratagems
to reach the distant fruit

the fox jumped up;
the fox rolled rocks to below the grapes
and stood on them
and jumped again;
the fox sang songs to the grapes;
the fox threatened the grapes
and even tried positive thinking
and with eyes closed
a good measure of visualization
in which the grapes fell into its open mouth…

But all to no avail…

And at last
the wise fox said:
Ah, who needs these grapes?
They must be sour and turning bad anyway…

And off the fox trotted away

Mirage
Sheldon Dsouza Feb 2015
Like I was before I am now.
Reluctant to change I thought I was,
But succeeded to change myself somehow.

Thought you would prefer me that way,
Thought I'd seen hope's ray.
But I was wrong then as I am now.
A ray of hope I hadn't seen,

A mere illusion it had been.
No different than a mirage you were to me,
My minds visualization of a heavenly entity.

Thought I had found joy in a desert of sadness,
Like water in a barren wilderness.
Whoever knew the loneliness I had to go through without you?

Didn't care about it that much,
Who would! after gaining an angel like you as such!

But you never took me seriously,
A joke I was for you clearly.
No matter what I said or did,
You took my words no more than that of a kid.

Hoped for you to be more than a mirage for me,
Hoped that from this loneliness I would alas be free.

But as it had to be,
After chasing you for an eternity,
You disappeared into clarity.

After all the sweet pain you put me through,
You just spread your wings and flew.
Leaving me in this wretched state,
Like a mirage in a desert great great...
With each breath,
take in the nourishing
and expel the toxic.
In other words:
In with Chi,
Out with Sha.

Visualize this;
Visualization is akin to Manifestation.
Manifestation is crucial with Chi.
-
Guidelines:

1. As each ****** motion is carried out, a breath is made.
Your breath and the motion begin and end at the same time.

2. Inward motions usually warrant inward breath,
as outward motions usually warrant outward breath

3. Nothing is ever the same twice. Neither you, nor the motions you do.
Everything is in flux

4. The movements of T'ai Chi are not dissimilar from
the movements of Water amongst rocks:

Fluent. Changing.
The more yielding,
yet the more powerful;

Such is the Tao, and thus Chi.
Such is Wu-Wei.
Such is Consciousness,
Such is Physics,
Such is Reality.
Such should we practice.
-
Begin:

In a standing position with your feet a few inches apart and parallel;
Cup your hands, one in the other, with or without thumbs touching.
Close your Eyes and take at least Five deep breaths, or better yet; meditate.
Clear your Mind. Let the ripples settle.
1.
Breathe in as you arc your Right Foot away from the Left until they are shoulder width apart.
2.
Breathe out as you bend your knees slightly and keep your spine vertical.
The further you squat, the more of a workout this is for your legs
and more of a stretch for your lower back.
3.
Breathing in, draw your hands up to shoulder height, palms down.
Visualize a vortex of energy under your hands.
4.
Exhaling, lead with the wrists with palms outward,
drop your hands slowly to waist level.
5.
Inhaling, visualize holding a large ball in front of your torso;
place your Left Hand palm down at shoulder height over your chest
and the Right Hand palm up at waste level.
6.
Exhaling, turn your torso but not hips to face 3 o'clock,
radially following the direction the top hand is pointing.
7.
Inhaling, look forward to 12 o'clock.
8.
Exhaling, twist similarly to look at 9 o'clock.
9.
Inhaling, look forward to 12 o'clock.
10.
Exhaling, look again at 3 o'clock and drop your top hand down to waste level, pushing
and bring your bottom hand forward and up, palm facing your face
11.
Still facing 3 o'clock, inhale and draw both hands to your left hip, pretend as if you hold a ball;
visualize a ball of energy between your palms.
12.
Turn your feet to 3 o'clock in the same locations they are in.
Push the ball towards 3 o'clock and up, as if to let a bird fly;
visualize that ball of energy flying away, to be shared with the world.
13.
Inhale createing a circle with your arms vertically in front of you
by pulling your wrists up, then pulling towards your shoulders,
then exhale, pushing slightly down and away.
14.
Inhale as you face towards 12 o'clock,
pointing your feet again towards 12 o'clock.
Draw your Right Hand to your forehead, with space and palm out
with your Left Hand at waste level and centered, fingers pointed down and palm facing inwards
(sort of like a dance move from "Walk like an Egyptian, actually..).
15.
Moving in circles and constantly breathing,
greet North, East, South and West by alternating the hand that's on top in a circular pattern,
ending with the Left Hand before your forehead
and your Right pointed down, thumb away from you.
16.
Exhaling, step forward with your Left foot about two feet
and drop down so your downward pointed Right Hand is a few inches above the ground,
still with Spine straight
17.
Pretend to draw an arrow from a Quiver by your Right Hand;
inhaling, draw your hand up then back, holding your Left Hand in front, as if holding a bow
18.
Exhaling quickly, Release the Arrow
19.
Lean forward and catch the Arrow of Chi with both hands
and bring it towards your Solar Plexus, inhaling. Merging.
Once your hands are at your stomach, roll your wrists towards you and bring your hands to your waist.
I imagine the motion of water around a rock to assist with making the motions of the wrist.
Bring your feet together, a few inches apart and parallel
20.
Stretch up and out with your arms and breathe deeply.
21.
Bow forward and exhale slowly with your palms on the sides of your thighs.
22.
Cup your hands in front of you and meditate.
-
It is up to you to do it again, to do something else, or to just keep meditating.
Follow thy Path. :)

The first form demonstrated is the form in this writing, the second is another one I know.

I confess, I am rusty as hell.
But, that's why I'm doing it.
The smell of sage burning
The quietude of a mind in meditation
Hearing the voice of my soul within
That deepest part of me arise

All is alive
Unified with the great mystery
My troubles fall away from me
And once again

my daily regimen, focused, intense,
a pugilistic kata of the tongue,
in preparation for our oral fence,
run laps around ideas, expand lungs,

my visualization of that day--
we spar with strikes and parries, counterstrikes,
in reasonings' most ****** kumite,
my verbal knuckles down her oral pikes,

so armed with good reasons to reconcile,
arriving at the place where she should be,
she proves to be so much more versatile
absent, my wasted versatility,

i cannot win with passion or with rage,
a lover's heart which simply won't engage
