We keep at arms length

The ones we want to be closest to

Because of the fear

we're being played for a fool

Or have come to care that

We are the ones being cruel

For me

One must participate in life

Or

You'll only live to die

existing to survive

Deprived in life

To the outcasts*

Do what it takes to outlast

The seemingly endless backlash

You were made to surpass

All the useless trash

Don't forget that some of the worlds greatest figures were outcasts who changed the world because they were different.

They saw the world differently

And they had courage to be and stay different even when branded as an "outcast"

I can't help but notice

That the things worth noticing

Are things that go unnoticed  

Word of advice

Change your focus

Filter out the useless bogus

Notice the unnoticed

Scars

Became like jail bars

Trapping us within its confines

Slowly Being De-humanised

In the public eye

Because they only saw a living landmine

But

I learned that

Had no need to deny

What's mine

For the public is blind

to see, scars don't define

They simply tell a story line

Intertwined

With the scarred design
