Sometimes we see ourselves in the worst kind of light
All you need to do is persuade your mind and see your self through a new and different lense

Self hating is when you seek out the flaws but fail to see "self beauty" (yes I may have made that up but it should be a thing - stay humble though ;) lol )  

Challenge for everyone- seek the best in yourselves (what you love about your self)

the way in which you see yourself can sometimes be projected onto the way other people see you too

So maybe if you value yourself a little more everyone else would value you more :)

~ for a time the truth may rain havoc but lies will lead to certain death

~ moral of the story - as difficult as it is its best to always tell the truth even if its ugly

~ my generation have degraded depression from being a mental illness to a way of seeking attention and the seriousness of the condition seems to have been lost an them (myself being part of this group)

Id like to re establish the seriousness that it actaully holds

~We spend a life time asking the same question a million times, in a million different ways yet the outcome is always the same

So here's the lesson

~instead of looking for life's purpose how about we lead a life with purpose and strive after something we believe is worthwhile

Your word is only worth how much of it you keep

If you make a promise keep it

~ the world is full of things to see but I only wish too see the things that gets ignored most of the time it's simple things like little kind gestures and actions but because they happen on a regular basis makes it extraordinary and beautiful especially when you take notice

~ wrote this while updating my bio thought it could be poetic so why not share it :)

~ as people we crave to make deeper connections with those around us

~ To do that you have to be willing to lower your barriers (not all at once but gradually)

~ challenge: get out of isolation, rejoin the world and this time be a little more open :) as difficult as it is we can at least try

~ at some point we all begin to drown and the only way out is to swim

~if you can't swim (like me lol) don't worry you have the support of a life raft (your family and friends)

~make use of it hold on to it until you learn to keep your head above the water on you own ( remember that life raft is always there for use)

~ as a wise fish once said "just keep on swimming"

~ it seems that the world only develops to become more violent. We need people who are willing to be adversaries of peace we also need to re-educate ourselves in learning when to walk away from fights and the power of compromise

~ just felt like saying that all flaws come with beauty~

Poems a little on the rough side sorry :)

~ the common perception people have come to believe  is that normal Is being the same as everyone else, that not right that would be conformity.

~Normal has always been people's individuality

So here's a lesson

~ own it, your individuality I mean because that makes you normal you'd be the normal you and that's what we want from you :)

~There are many times when I viewed the lives of other people thinking why do they seem to have it good?

~ I realise I had always known the answer but I was unwilling to concede

~ if you want a good life you have to work for it, it won't just fall into you lap

Lesson: we are all responsible for our own happiness and our own lives

~ i find that the greatest joys in life can be found in the smallest and simplest acts

~ when we don't understand we demand answers for our own clarity

Answers can't always be given so we must understand to the best of our abilities and learn to be content

~ why dont i feel?

Sometimes we aren't able to handle the things we think we can.

That doesn't mean we can't overcome it we just need a little support and help and someone who can see sense when we don't.

Splitting hurts ~ especially cause they said family comes first

~ there are moments in life where the occurance of an event is enough to change the course in which you were headed and the people headed there with you

~ I find peace after reaching my lowest point because like the saying I know "there's nowhere for me to go except up"

~ crying is a major outlet so people who fight it don't let the tears come and go so that you may be refreshed afterwords

~ child brides is an ongoing practise that has only come to light in recent years lets work towards putting an end to this

The first step is awareness :)

Every thought and idea has been so elusive

~ there comes a point in life were we must all be held accountable for our actions and take charge of our responsibilities that doesn't mean we can't have fun along the way it just means have fun responsibly :)

~ when I'm an old person trapped in a young body lol

~ I have no doubt that at some stage everyone has been asked the question which seems to come with the automatic fill -I'm fine-  let's be honest it's okay not to be okay thats part of being human. Okay? :)

~ all people are loved just in different ways and it's not always clear

~we all deserve to be loved don't let anyone tell you different :)

~ sometimes the things we say get lost in translation or interpreted with different meanings

~ how do you make it clear?

~ what are you supposed to do when you fight with yourself?

~my answer for now: make peace and take control

~ sometimes at the core of our judgment is the reflection of ones inner self our  hidden part of oneself

~ they way in which you are raised will shape a persons view in life and what we believe needs fixing or doing

~ when your tired and burned out you know it's time for a rest/break/sleep

~ point being don't overwork yourself you know when it's time for a break and so does your body take the hints and feel rejuvenated after a good nights rest

In experiencing and witnessing the passing of loved ones iv been prompted to think on the things that I would want for my family/friends to know in the final hours.

In working as a Nurse Iv seen many deaths and the heartache that happens from all sides. There is the pain in letting go. There is the suffering when you refuse to and also when you finally do. Sometimes when its time you will know.

But, in those final moments what I most often see is that from each side (That of the person dying and those experiencing the loss) each find comfort in being there for one another and witnessing that one is not alone, that the other will be in peace and the other taken care of.

~ Im sorry I get scared of people getting close to me because they have the potential to hurt me .

~ Many handle anger in a number of ways, i handle it by screaming because iv been brought to the brink of insanity and its the only realse that doesnt involve me doing something completely stupid also it my way of venting

~ humanity can not function without unity

~sometimes our best qualities only come out at the worst of times let's see if we can change that and make it at all times :)

-Everyone needs help at some point, but we are reluctant to seek it for a variety of reasons such as pride and shame.

- There is no shame in asking for help.

-The humbling of ones character is the growth of ones character

-The first step to getting help is to help your self. To do this you must reflect and have self awareness. Be completely honest with yourself acknowledge that help is needed.

-Help must then be accepted in order to take effect.
